The International Day of Yoga, 🧘♂️🧘♀️ celebrated annually on June 21, was adopted by the United Nations in 2014. This global event raises awareness about the many benefits of practicing yoga, with a unique theme each year. At Allianz Technology, we have been observing International Yoga Day for several years with a focus on team well-being. This year's theme, "🌍One Earth, One Family, One Future," highlighted yoga's role in fostering individual well-being and societal harmony. The celebrations included an engagement campaign on Viva Engage, hybrid yoga workshops, and a panel discussion with regional and global leaders, featuring celebrity yoga expert Vidya Malvade. Leaders shared personal stories of how yoga has benefited them, inspiring the audience. Key discussion topics included stress management, mental resilience, personality development, aesthetic benefits, clarity of thought, and mindfulness. Additionally, we extended our observance beyond Allianz by conducting CSR events in schools and NGOs 🤝, where our well-being team led yoga sessions. Across all sessions, the message was clear: yoga is not just about physical stretches but also about discipline, mindfulness, spirituality, and gaining control over body and mind.
