Today is the second day of the 4th AIRPORT OPERATIONS SUMMIT. An interesting conference combined with the opportunity to meet and talk one-on-one with experts in practice managing at airports. The speakers as well as the other participants represent a wide spectrum of airports from the largest (e.g. Dallas, Berlin, Copenhagen ) to regional airports such as Ljubljana, Luxembourg or Aarhus and companies offering systems to support airport operations. Every time I have the opportunity to participate in such a meeting I become convinced that, as wise people say: "man is a lifelong learner".

Good points regarding management of GA airports by their public sponsors. Although governmental mismanagement issues are not unique to airports, it is unfortunate given the potential value of GA airports.

Beside the airport point of view, he will also touch the one of the airlines: Proper Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) is well known for airports but is of crucial importance for airlines at new airports too.
