Thank you, Dr Mara Antonoff and Dr Cecilia Pompili MD PhD FACS for bringing this issue to light. It's important that we all address the abuse and harassment faced by women also in the medical field. This concern extends beyond highly educated surgeons to include all women in the medical environment – from nurses to administrative staff, and others. Just as many other industries have started to take action, the medical field must also ensure that every woman feels safe and respected in her workplace. I fully support any efforts to create a safer and more equitable environment for everyone in healthcare. These women are our wives, daughters, and sisters. Why should male medical professionals be allowed to abuse them?

unfortunately it is a fact that women have fewer opportunities than men, society is still too oriented towards the male gender, let's hope that things improve!
