Development of dark brown color and blue color by Avaluxe Coating Technology: Following an inquiry from a customer producing sanitary tapware and accessories, Avaluxe Coating Technology developed a homogeneous dark brown and blue color. The development stages were: - a thorough analysis of the equipment that relates its characteristics (size of the chamber as well as number, size, geometry, and configuration of cathodes in the chamber; and also, the PVD technology that is possible i.e., Arc or sputtering or both) to the levels of the process parameters that can be set. - Choosing the coating material (metal target as well as reactive gases) considering the intra-band mechanism for the reflection of colors and the enthalpy of formation of the reactive gases. - Choosing the coating thickness and architecture considering the interference of the light that influences the color. - Choosing the technology based on the degree of dissociation rate of the reactive gas that is needed and the metal atom fraction in the coating that both influence the amount of free electrons in the coating. - Using designed experiments based on the DoE methodology. The dark brown color and blue color are shown in the image below: #PVD #Decorativecoatings #Avaluxe4you

The Role of High Temperature UV-Cure Adhesive in Bonding Heat-Sensitive Materials #UVgluebonding #bestUVcuring #bestUVadhesivesupplier #UVadhesivemanufacturer #UVglueglass #superUVadhesive Bonding heat-sensitive materials can be a challenging task, as traditional adhesives often cannot withstand the high temperatures required for the bonding process. However, high temperature UV adhesive offers a solution to this problem. This article will provide an in-depth understanding of high temperature UV-cure adhesive, its properties, and how it differs from other types of adhesives. It will also explore the challenges in bonding heat-sensitive materials and how high temperature UV-cure adhesive addresses these challenges. https://lnkd.in/g__3_56h

Raytech - Magic Gel The insulating and sealing gel, when cast in suitable casings, ensures an IP68 degree of protection and it is able to replace all types of resins. This is a self-polymer insulation in two practical bottles or in a single use bag, with cold cross linking. Once poured, the insulation, characterized by very low viscosity, surrounds and envelopes any type of material, cross linking in less than 10 minutes. Completely non-toxic, cross linking with a very slow isothermal peak that does not thermally stress the materials it comes into contact with. ◾ For high temperature applications! ◾ Quick cross linking (only 10 minutes) ◾ Re-enterable also after long working periods ◾ Non-toxic and safe with no shelf life ◾ Low viscosity Contact us today for more information and price enquiries... #electricalcontractor #electricalinstallation #electricinsulation #electricalwholesaler #raytech #sparkslife

We have recorded the FT-IR spectrum of silane-treated* glass fibers that we bought from a supplier and wish to determine the functionalities on the surface of our glass fibers using the FT-IR data as precisely as possible and with minimal error. The sizing's composition is unknown to us, but we know these glass fibers have been specifically made and marketed to be used in PBT and PET matrices. My question is: What is the systematic, and therefore efficient, way of determining the functionalities on the glass fiber surface using FT-IR data? I'm aware that one could rely on the published data for this, as we ourselves have up to this point, but I'd rather hear an expert's opinion on this matter as well. * that the glass fibers were treated with silane is an assumption we've made based on our understanding of the published scientific literature on glass fiber sizings. #ftir #spectroscopy #silane #sizing #surfacecoating #surfacetreatment #glassfiber #PET #PBT #polymer #polymercomposites #spektrum #komposit #verbundwerkstoff #glasfaser #plastik #kunststoffchemie #kunststofftechnik

Shrinkage in spin-on glass (SOG) coatings or annealing processes can result in incomplete coverage, pattern distortion, delamination, or cracking of a spin-on carbon underlayer. Insufficient thermal stability can affect subsequent process steps, compromising the overall performance and reliability of the device. To prevent significant yield loss caused by unstable materials during high-temperature annealing, such as those necessary in SADP applications, it’s important to ensure gapfilling materials are stable over 400°C. Brewer Science’s OptiStack® SOC450 material provides zero shrinkage up to 550°C when baking in N2. Learn how this innovative material will revolutionize your EUV and ArF processes: https://hubs.li/Q020szm50 . . #semiconductor #EUV #ArF #lithography #advancedpackaging #semiconductormanufacturing

‼️ If you've ever worked with silicones like RTV 566, you know firsthand the obstacles that this material presents in the mixing process.... 1️⃣ High Viscosity: Silicones like RTV 566 are known for their high viscosity. This viscosity can make it difficult to achieve optimal blending and dispersion of various components or materials. There's also a large difference in the viscosity, as well as ratio of the catalyst/cross-linker and material. FlackTek™'s bladeless centrifugal mixing ensures that these two ingredients are thoroughly and perfectly mixed. 2️⃣ Air Entrapment: The high viscosity of RTV 566 increases the likelihood of air entrapment during mixing, especially if you're using a bladed mixer or hand mixing techniques. These unwanted air bubbles can negatively affect the adhesive's bonding quality and overall performance. FlackTek™ ensures superior mixing results, free from air entrapment as it naturally de-airs during mixing. Vacuum equipped machines offer an added layer of security against microscopic entrained air as well as additional air removal for the likes of absorbed atmosphere. 3️⃣ Cure Time: RTV 566's cure time can vary based on proper mixing, and additional factors such as temperature and humidity. It's essential to thoroughly mix the components to ensure a proper and predictable cure. FlackTek™ technology mixes quickly, and allows precise control during the mixing process, ensuring optimal results. 🌀 Conquer the unique mixing challenges of silicones like RTV 566 with FlackTek™. Our bladeless planetary mixer and combined with our expertise in materials processing helps you overcome the challenges brought by viscosity, air entrapment, and cure. 🌀 #MandPMonday #FlackTek #RTV566 #MixingChallenges #HighViscosity #AirEntrapment #Precise #Mixing #Consistent #Results #Adhesive #Innovation
