With Ethereum just announced as a commodity (even though it’s not a commodity), the game of creating debt and destructive products will continue, even in crypto. 📉💣 ### Examples for Beginners: - **CDOs (Collateralized Debt Obligations):** Imagine bundling bad loans together and selling them as good investments. This led to the 2008 financial crisis. - **Ethereum as a Commodity:** Similar to how oil or gold is traded, but it's not traditionally a commodity. This could lead to more risky financial products in the crypto space. More risky financial products in the crypto space will now have a direct impact on real-life society. With ETFs, huge traditional financial institutions like YOUR banks or YOUR pension funds are buying these at a larger scale. 🏦📊 The repercussions will be devastating for society.
