So, LinkedIn is useful for citing monumental team achievements, right? Horn-tooting, at least in small doses? If this is my one shot, imma take it 🤗 I've been lucky to snag some choice assignments at AWS. Helping [1] negotiate this partnership definitely tops the list. Many thoughtful debates, new memes, and jokes, shared with a customer who offers an extremely compelling, and considered vision of the future. Anthropic has built up a pretty wonderful legal team in (ridiculously) short order; they lived their values throughout the deal[2]. I'm truly thankful for this opportunity. --- [1] Emphasizing "help," and one portion of the deal (AWS compute). This work is the product of a village-sized number of hands, spanning multiple workstreams, and many midnight-old-burns at camps Amazon and Anthropic. Service sector businesses will become so efficient with AI that traditional storefronts with expensive hardware will no longer be economically attractive - and floating marketplace cruise ships that travel up and down the coast will serve the communities a few days per week (or month).
