The 6th year of the Automobile Awards brought together 53 brands, including automakers and automotive suppliers, at the Automobile Club de France in Paris. The Automobile Awards jury- made up of 20 equal numbers of men and women- rewarded the Pirellis P Zero E tire for performance, innovation, and sustainable development. Take a look at the P Zero E: …developed by Pirelli to meet the latest trends in electric and sustainable mobility. …the first UHP tire on the market with over 55% bio-based and recycled materials, (reducing the amount of fossil and mineral-derived ingredients) … reduces tire wear (in terms of mass loss) by 42% compared to traditional UHP Pirelli tire! … this tire also debuts a symbol - identifying all Pirelli tires containing at least 50% sustainable materials. …it is the first UHP tire achieving a triple A rating on the European tire label across the entire range; … and offering consistent performance whether the tire is new or used. … developed for battery-electric vehicles. The tire will launch to aftermarket’s in January 2024.

Power is nothing without control

The media is cluttered with talks of Eco friendly, sustainable, "Green", recycled.. companies and products. "We have up to... % recycled products". We are breastfed green washing to a point where its hard to pay attention. We grow numb. We risk of stop caring about the paramount work of creating a world that can sustain itself. One of our musts at Antolin is the responsibility to transform the future of mobility from the interior through innovation. Regarding this, we have a strong commitment with sustainability and environmental care which has been acknowledged at ‘Premios Transformación hacia una Economía Sostenible’ 8th edition held by Expansión. This award was granted to our last development, an environment-friendly material made of mycelium. Mycelium is part of fungi vegetable growth, then it is found in natural terrestrial ecosystems. In this way, we also increase #circulareconomy efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of car components. According to Jorge Álvarez-Naveiro, Head of Brand, Marketing, Communications (BMC) & Alliances at Antolin, "this award serves both as a public acknowledgment to the teams involved -the Innovation Direction, Sustainability, or the Overhead Systems Business Unit, among others- and as an encouragement to keep on contributing from the car interior to the planet’s sustainability”. What a pleasure to welcome our partners to share some existing and future Circular Economy solutions! Last week, as a partner of the TREASURE project, NextMove has organized a 3-day event around the circular economy and brought together around 60 people✔ Project members, EU clusters and industrial partners have come together in Paris to discover the future of the automotive industry. We are happy to announce the success of the TREASURE project (Leading the TRansition of the European Automotive SUpply chain towards a circulaR futurE). A few days ago, the project consortium held the last review meeting with Vessela Stoyanova-Monteleone, part of European Research Executive Agency (REA), where all the project results were presented, marking the successful conclusion of this journey. 🚗♻️ Coordinated by Politecnico di Milano, TREASURE brought together 15 organizations from 6 EU countries and 1 extra-EU country (Switzerland), each contributing unique expertise and knowledge.
