𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: 𝗡𝗘W 𝗨𝗡 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲! ⚠️🔎📋 From 14th to 16th November 2023, the 𝟭𝟵𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 W𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (#WP29) took place. During this session, two NEW UN Regulations were voted and adopted, with an entry into force date of 21st June 2024. Additionally, several amendments proposing potential homologation requirements will enter into force on 15th June 2024. During this session, a 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗨𝗡 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 about Driver Control Assistance Systems (#DCAS) was voted and adopted, with an entry into force date of 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. Additionally, several amendments proposing potential homologation requirements will enter into force on 22 September 2024, 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗡 𝗥.𝟬𝟳𝟵 that will entry into force on 𝟴 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰. 🗓⚠️ Yesterday 24 September 2023. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗨𝗡 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲! From 7 to 9 March 2023 took place the 189th session of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (#WP29). 𝟯𝟵 𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 with potential homologation requirements were voted and adopted during this session. They entered into force on 24 September 2023. Among these amendments it should be highlighted: 👉 New 04 series to UN R.117. 👉 New 06 series to UN R.110 Also, UNECE is working to develop a new UN #GTR very similar to GTR 22 adopted by the WP.29 in March 2022 providing minimum performance requirements for the battery durability of electrified light-duty vehicles. The World Forum has now decided to develop similar provisions for #heavydutyvehicles under a new UN Global Technical Regulation. An internationally harmonized procedure to assess battery durability will facilitate comparisons between different models and manufacturers. Given that batteries are the single biggest driver of cost for electric vehicles, it will thus provide buyers with a key element to compare offers and direct their investments. 𝘈 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵 𝑝𝘳𝘰𝑝𝘰𝘴𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘪𝘥-2024 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 W𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘶𝘮.   United Nations Global Technical Regulations (UN GTRs) contain globally harmonized performance-related requirements and test procedures.
