There’s another vitally important aspect of knowing who your Whos are. When you are looking for help of almost any kind, whom do you know in your network of friends, relatives and business associates who can connect you to the right person or group of people? I spoke at an event with “C” level people who were in transition. I was sharing the concept of how to find the people you need to know, when a hand shot up at the back of the room. A young man looking very distraught asked, “But what if I don’t know anyone in Los Angeles? How do I make this concept work for me?” I expanded his whole universe with this simple but powerful lesson. He certainly knew people from St. Louis, where he came from. As a result, he reached out to everyone he knew there by asking: “I’ve just moved to Los Angeles and in an effort to meet quality people, I am asking you as someone I know and value who YOU know there that I should meet.” This catapulted his results…all by asking his Who’s. #business #businesscoach #entrepreneur #coaching #leadership #growth

Get back more than YOUR TIME with Delegation.   I love seeing growth in my clients. At a quarterly planning session this fall, I noticed something different about one particular owner. She seemed more relaxed. More confident. I’ve become a concierge to people I know. I’ve always been the guy that my friends go to for advice, a different perspective or play Devils Advocate. My dad always told me…. “Give people your support, but give practical and real advice at the same time.” Is it always in my favour? No…. Is it draining at times? YES Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! We never know how strong we are being for others that need it… keep being a support system. But one thing I have learned…. Find an ear for you too…. Because sometimes we need it too.
