In commemoration of #RoeVWadeDay, we wanted to pause and take a look at the data — to see just how much the overturning of Roe two years ago has impacted #abortion access and women’s health more broadly. The data proves what we have believed all along: when abortion is outlawed it doesn’t go away — it just limits access to women’s choices and by extension, safe and quality healthcare that women need and deserve. The contemporary environment is shaped by language, specifically words that promote essential human values. The precise use of terminology within defined frameworks significantly enhances the chances of achieving desired goals. For instance, terms like "pro-choice" and "freedom" played a crucial role in shaping the outcome of the abortion discourse in red-leaning states of America. In these states, these words became the determining factors for success or failure. The question arises: why do supporters of abortion rights now emphasize "freedom," even though this concept has been ingrained in the U.S. Constitution since its creation in 1787? Speaking of values, the importance of Biden's ideological and political shift becomes evident, especially considering his previous stance that rejected exceptions for victims of rape in the context of abortion. In the midst of discussions surrounding abortion, a notable observation arises: the value of human life (as argued by proponents of the pro-life stance) and the importance of human choice (as advocated by those in favor of the pro-choice perspective) are contingent on various factors such as time, place, and circumstances. #AbortionDiscourse #USConstitution #ProLifeVsProChoice #HumanValues #AbortionDebate #HumanRights #SocialIssues #PublicPolicy #CivicDiscourse
A subtle but powerful change in messaging has reshaped how abortion is talked about, leaving conservatives scrambling to respond.

Despite the noise, the numbers are in favor of positive change. Communities coming together, individuals putting aside differences for a common goal — these are the building blocks of hope.
