Safety almost always comes down to doing the little things right, day after day. That’s why Astra Safety Director Dan Resendes awarded our Focus Four Gift Card Safety Award to USA Mechanical & Energy Services' Lucas Gorcenski. Lucas keeps his Arc Flash gloves in full sight every time he enters his van, so he always has them when he needs them. A small thing that makes a big difference!

My wife was given a Stanely Cup as a gift. I see them everywhere, what’s going on… When I drop off and pick up my kids from school I see almost every kid carrying around a Stanley Cup. 🥤 How has everyone fallen under the Stanely Cup spell. I hopped on Amazon and saw they are selling for $40 for a 40-ounce cup with handle. You can also buy accessory toppers. 🐓 🐭 Adorable little animals that keep a lid on the straw. 🐷 🐯 This can cost you $7 for 10. You can change them out every day. 🐸 🐧 Including tax, you can drink water in style for somewhere near $50. I then looked up just a regular metal, 40-oz water cannister. The least expensive one I could find was $20. 🥤 It holds and delivers water to its patron just as effectively as a Stanley. It didn’t come with the adorable straw toppers, but you can order it in multiple colors. With no real added drinking benefit, The Stanley cup with toppers was selling for a 150% premium. 😱 What is the cost of drinking water in style? What is the premium for a fad? I know it’s only a $30 difference, but consumers do this all the time. We want what is style, what looks cool, and what everyone else has. And we will pay up for this appearance. (For the record, we have two Stanely Cups in our house.) What have you paid up for when you knew there was no real functional benefit? (We all do it, be honest with yourself 😁)

#DTC: "Come heavy or not at all." DTC darling HexClad Cookware drove almost $1M in revenue off this campaign last year . . . It's possible to drive real volume with this channel. Max your Q4 / holiday revenue by flipping your core offer into direct mail. You'll hit customers that aren't subscribed to your list. 💸 Offer: - simple discount off everything (it's BFCM after all) - QR code is a nice add (although not everyone will scan it) - good, solid creative that will stand out in the mailbox 🎯 Target: - MailMatch--meaning they targeted people on their email list who 1) subscribed >15 days ago and 2) have never purchased. DM for the playbook.

I think using colour swatches on filters is a good idea when you have simple and a few options Ive run tests at various retailers previously and its performed well But when it looks like this that i found earlier…hell no Where do you even start? If you want to view all the green items you have to select one then the filter pane closes so you have to open it again to select another And the order of them is awful, im going to guess theyre ranked by the qty of products per value This is a prime example of using a tool to get what you want but either not having the time to optimise it, optimise the data or not being able to use it to create the experience you originally desired

Easy compliance with the forthcoming EU digital passports... As sure as eggs is eggs We made Countermark the way it is because we knew that manufacturers, food producers and packaging lines already know all about using Continuous Ink Jet Print (CIJP) - the two rows of distinctive dot based characters - sometimes with a logo - like on these eggs. A lot of software people like QR codes because they don't have to do much work, ready made API's, libraries and, thanks to the pandemic, people know to point their phone at one when they see one. Software people are not worried about the risk of QR fraud, it is someone else's problem. The EU is looking to put unique digital passports on every product in the EU, and Countermark makes it easier for manufacturers and packaging companies - they already have the knowledge, maintenance processes, print vendors in place for CIJP. And for food processors, the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) has all been evaluated and figured out - the inks in the picture are safe to eat. Countermark (see the laser marked stainless steel inset) uses this proven format to store any data that you like about the product. Human and machine readable, encrypted and designed to avoid the fraud that comes with QR codes. As for the chickens - they couldn't give a cluck More information ?
