💡Ideas Don't Make the Difference, Execution Does! 🚀 We recently held our regular "Data Science & AI Community" session, where we presented ideas, tackled challenges, and discussed business solutions for Mercedes-Benz Trucks Product Development. This event brings together our Product Engineering and Data Science teams, and we witnessed some truly efficiency-boosting solutions that are already implemented and ready to use. 🚀 To speed up the transition from buzzwords to actionable solutions, we're considering all options by carefully choosing the best fit across three main categories: - cloud provided large language models (#LLM), - on-prem hosted models, - and small language models (#SLM). It’s all about „right-sizing“, or as we say in “The Laend” - Zweckmäßigkeit. This approach not only increases implementation speed but also impacts operational costs. Every solution needs not only to address a relevant business problem but also to be a viable business case.
