Private Banks Will Be Defined By Alternative Investment Skills This is the only way forward. At F Partners we are moving away from any private banking relationship that does not invest their own capital in the opportunities / products they are offering. It has to be a true partnership rather than a client / service provider relationship as I can get that from the bulge bracket banks with less costs. If you’re a private bank and not doing this, I expect your days are numbered. The power of private credit. If you had asked me before the GFC to consider direct lending to medium-sized corporates, I would have said you’re crazy. The banks had it all tied up so you could only lend to the ‘leftovers’. Now the banks have had to pull back and our inbound calls are suggesting #privatecredit is redefining the investment landscape as I predicted it would. The potential for attractive yields, monthly cash income (in the case of the Aura funds we are aligned with) and low volatility can’t continue to be ignored for long. It's benefits are compelling enough to warrant a tidal wave of due diligence such that private credit may just become an entirely separate asset class. It’s also filling the gap left by traditional #banks, offering an alternative lending path that connects investors with borrowers for potentially attractive returns. This direct lending approach bypasses the usual financial intermediaries, creating opportunities in sectors underserved by banks. Private credit, offering high yields and attractive benefits like speed and flexibility, has grown to $2 trillion globally by mid-2023. However, it faces risks from potential economic downturns and reduced bank lending to smaller businesses, as noted by industry experts. Despite these concerns, the attractive yields and benefits like speed and flexibility continue to draw institutional investors to private credit. At Brisco Income Fund, we strive to minimize market risks, allowing our investors to enjoy high returns without the associated stress.
