#scala_wonders Scala's immutable List object has an interesting function 'tabulate'. Following is the definition: def tabulate[A](n1: Int, n2: Int, n3: Int, n4: Int, n5: Int)(f: (Int, Int, Int, Int, Int) ⇒ A): List[List[List[List[List[A]]]]] This function can produce a 'table' of lists in up to 5 dimensions. Below I create two Lists of Lists, one with dimensions 2x3 and the second 3x7. Also I apply a function (_*_) to produce each element of the table. (_*_) means multiply the row index with the column index. Imagine doing the same thing imperatively.
