The 2024 NYC Media Lab and Bertelsmann Ethical Matrix challenge called for projects that use AI to innovate responsibly across media, services, education and healthcare. The collaborative incubator kicked off 🚀 in early June, with four excellent teams bringing their AI projects to join forces 💪 with 4 Start-Ups, Bertelsmann Company Mentors, Speakers, and programming to chart a responsible course for AI's future, where progress and principles 🤝 coexist.

Great things can only be achieved when we all work as a 🤝 team. Therefore, Bertelsmann has launched 🚀 the AIdea Campaign, giving every employee a chance to contribute to and benefit from shared AI assets. Anyone at Bertelsmann can submit innovative AI concepts 🆕 that will drive our business forward, and the most promising ideas can become reality with support 💪🏾 from the Group’s AI team. Thomas Coesfeld is the newest member of the Bertelsmann Executive Board. At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of the international media, services, and education company appointed the CEO of the BMG division to the Group Executive Board with immediate effect. Coesfeld will be responsible on the Board for Bertelsmann’s music business, which he has headed as CEO since July 2023, prior to which he served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BMG.

Once again, attending STICKS AND STONES was an amazing experience. This year's edition of Europe's largest LGBTIQ+ job fair 🌈 reached new heights as it presented itself as a career festival for the first time. The atmosphere was truly inspiring 🤩 as thousands of visitors came to discover job openings at LGBTIQ+-friendly companies. And just like that, yesterday #TMB24 has come to an end 💙 On the final day, our participants enjoyed a #networking brunch with company representatives and alumni as well as an engaging fireside chat 🔥 with Team 2030. Finally, they received a valuable round of feedback from their workshop hosts. We hope that every moment spent here has created unforgettable memories in your hearts. This was one for the books! Yesterday brought exciting presentations, the awards ceremony and a whole lot of fun at #TMB24! Our participants showcased their workshop results to Bertelsmann’s top executives before celebrating everyone’s spectacular achievements at the after show-party at Spindler & Klatt 🏆 As the sun set over Berlin, we kicked back, let loose and danced the night away 💃  #TalentMeetsBertelsmann

Day 1 of #TalentMeetsBertelsmann was a symphony of ideas 💡 and collaboration. Our talents took on their creative assignment with the help of #AI and dove into their workshop topics, developing innovative solutions to questions around fintech, healthcare, content marketing, digital fitness, AI governance, the creator economy and customer acquisition. The day was capped off with a delicious #networking dinner 🍽️ We’re so excited for what’s to come today at #TMB24! 🤩
