This is so well said and true. There are many contributing factors to why a position isn't the right fit or maybe doesn't get filled at all. Providing a positive recruiting experience is vital to build the relationship with a candidate in hopes of helping them find that just right role. Candidates that have excellent interview experiences will tell their friends and fellow job seekers that you were the reason they got the job or the reason they were ok with not getting the job. Ultimately they will be the word of mouth to refer new talent to you. While recruiting is undeniably a challenging industry it most certainly is a rewarding one! #headhunters #recruitinglife #youremergencyisouremergency #collaborationnotcompetition #founditheadhunters #theinterview Amanda Norris Melody Pachankis
Recruiting is undeniably a challenging industry where factors often remain beyond our control. Though challenging, one thing remains constant: the ability to provide a great experience. I always aim to be the person I would want on the other end of the process. Fortunately, I've had numerous encounters where I've received heartfelt appreciation. The emails and messages I continue to receive serve as reminders that guide me through the tough days. 😊 #Gratitude✨ #Recruitment #Professionalism #PositiveFeedback
Absolutely agree with this perspective. Enhancing the candidate experience is crucial in not only attracting but also retaining talent. Positive word-of-mouth referrals can indeed be a powerful tool for recruitment. Excellent insights, thanks for sharing!

1moI totally agree with you! Even as a recruiter, the hardest part for me is relaying a message to the candidate that they were not chosen for the position even when I think they were amazing! I always aim to add value even after a rejection just to keep the motivation going. It makes a difference! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! 🙂
