Astra Microwave Products Ltd and Teledyne e2v HiRel Electronics have entered into a collaboration agreement to provide semiconductor services to support aerospace, defense , and high-reliability electronics markets. Earlier, the company secured two major orders. The first is a Rs 56 crore contract to supply, install, test and commission a Precision Approach Radar (PAR) system for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore. This order includes a 10-year maintenance contract and will be completed within 10 months. The second order, valued at Rs 385.58 crore, is from Bharat Electronics Limited for MPR sub-systems and will be fulfilled within 36 months. ANALYSIS OF AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE INDUSTRIES Q3 RESULTS DECEMBER 2023 14. APOLLO MICROSYSTEMS LTD PART 3 AMS is establishing 2,50,000  sq ft state-of-the-art  defense electronics and electro-mechanical manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. It will have clean rooms for inertial systems, RF systems, and space applications along with a comprehensive test facility. It will be certified by accredited by NABL Laboratories. Our total investment of INR 150 Crores is envisaged for the said plant. The company has established a subsidiary named "APOLLO DEFENCE INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED," signaling potential diversification or expansion into the defense industry, which investors should monitor for strategic implications and growth opportunities.  CONCLUSION Sales of Apollo Microsystems have only marginally increased from Rs 220 crore in 2018 to Rs 298 crore in 2023. Operating profits have improved from Rs 49 crore to Rs 64 crore with margins ranging between 18 percent and 22 percent.Net profits have remained flat at Rs 19 crore due to higher interest and depreciation expenses. However, in the last 4 quarters, sales are Rs 106.85 crore, Rs 57.69 crore, Rs 87.16 crore and Rs 91 crore. Operating profits are Rs 22.90 crore, Rs 12.74 crore, Rs 18.37 crore, and Rs 24 crore. Net profits were Rs 7.54 crore, Rs 1.81 crore, Rs 6.62 crore and Rs 10 crore.  The company has an equity of Rs 23 crore, reserves of Rs 404 crore, and debt of Rs 171 crore. The stock has risen 233 percent in a year. Valuations are expensive with P/E 110 on trailing EPS. And as the company has not made any presentation with its results, any further assessment is not possible.
