As a chief marketing officer, you care about the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns. The entire user journey from your landing page to your onboarding is very critical and should be seamless. Otherwise, all that money spent on ads and emails is wasted. But does your security team allow you to prevent all those sign up checks and let every visitor in? They would if they know they can protect the product. And it's possible with a good "account fraud prevention" tool like CrossClassify.

In response to the huge growth of spam emails in 2023 many of the main email platform providers have changed their policies. Campaign Monitor by Marigold say in their user help pages. “If you don't have proven permission to email the addresses on your mailing lists, you are sending spam.” They go on to give yes, no, or maybe answers to many different scenarios of data gathering. Spam or Phishing emails have grown exponentially, and look set to go on rising. I wanted to take a moment to shed light on a growing concern within the digital marketing industry – the presence of fake digital marketers and chain marketing scams. As professionals in this field, it's our responsibility to protect our community from falling victim to such fraudulent activities. What to Watch Out For: Get-Rich-Quick Promises: Beware of digital marketers who promise overnight success and guaranteed returns. Legitimate marketing efforts take time and effort. Lack of Credentials: A genuine digital marketer often has certifications and a proven track record. Ask for references and verify their qualifications. Chain Marketing Schemes: Pyramid schemes disguised as digital marketing opportunities can be enticing but lead to financial loss for most participants. No Transparency: Legitimate marketers are open about their strategies and results. If someone is secretive about their methods, it's a red flag. Research and Due Diligence: Always research the background and credibility of any digital marketer or company before entering into any business arrangement. How to Protect Yourself: Educate yourself about legitimate digital marketing practices and red flags associated with scams. Ask for recommendations within your professional network to find reputable marketers. Report suspicious activity and profiles to LinkedIn to help protect others. Let's work together to keep our community safe from fake digital marketers and chain marketing scams. If you have any concerns or questions about someone's legitimacy, feel free to reach out. Remember, knowledge is your best defense. #DigitalMarketing #ScamAwareness

Listen Up Dear marketers! Let's talk about the objections people face when making online purchases via social media, and how we might overcome them like digital superheroes! 💪🛍️ Objection 1: "Is this a SCAM?" We all know this objection is unavoidable in the online realm. So, to overcome this issue, marketers should focus on establishing credibility. Display customer testimonials and reviews, showcase any industry honors or qualifications, and engage in open conversation. You may eliminate scam concerns by establishing your authenticity and reliability . Objection 2: "Is it possible to TRY it before I BUY it?" Oh, the feeling of touch! Marketers can use interactive demos, virtual try-ons, or generous return policies to address this concern. Providing thorough product descriptions, excellent photos, and even video demonstrations can increase the trust of potential buyers by enabling them to imagine their purchase. Objection 3: "What if it DOESN'T FIT my NEEDs?” Here, personalization comes to the rescue. Marketers can address this objection by highlighting product features and benefits that cater to different preferences or needs. Offer flexible options, such as size variations, adjustable settings, or personalized recommendations. By showcasing versatility and adaptability, you'll convince those doubtful customers. Objection 4: "What about SECURITY and PRIVACY ?" Truthfully, safety comes first. However, marketers can conquer this objection by demonstrating dedication to data privacy and secure transactions. Display trust badges, SSL certificates, and clearly express your privacy policy. Assure clients that their personal information is handled with care, and consider using secure payment methods or encryption technologies. Objection 5: "What IF I DON'T LIKE it?" . Fellow marketers, do not be tensed. Emphasize how easy it is for customers to return items and receive refunds, and emphasize that this is your first concern. Give customers precise information on how to start returns, provide free return shipping, and answer any questions or concerns they may have right away. Your dedication to making sure customers are happy will allay any fears they may have about making a purchase. So, fellow marketers, arm yourselves with these objection-overcoming strategies! Build trust, give virtual experiences, allow for personalization, emphasize security, and prioritize customers Satisfaction . Addressing these obstacles front on will allow you to realize social media's full potential as a thriving marketplace.
