I am grateful for friends who are good people. I admit that my appreciation has increased with separation. I am grateful for friendships that are not contingent on my political positions or my skin color or whether I wear a mask or not (I do). I am grateful for friends who help me to want to be nicer and do more good. I am grateful for friends who look beyond themselves and focus on serving their fellow man and all the other things that the Heavens want us to be. I am grateful to know what those things are. I am grateful for Heavenly friends who are patient with me in that quest. I am grateful for the peace they bring to me. Everything is going to be alright, you just watch. -Blake

Grateful for my mommy. My mom had magic powers. Her super power and extraordinary spiritual gift was love. All who knew her felt unusual love. I never wanted to disappoint her. I sure wish she would have lived long enough for us to spoil her as she deserved. She seemed to have progressed farther than most of humanity in coming to love the Lord and her neighbor. She helped me to love the Lord more. I can imagine how pleased the Lord must have been to have her back in his loving presence. I want to be like them. I am grateful for her beyond description. #givethanks

I am grateful for a modern-day Moses who was inspired to lead us by focusing on gratitude through and out of a Red Sea of contention and negativity. It is so refreshing to be standing on the dry ground of positivity after nearly drowning in a sea of hostility, fear and contention for so long. Do not be afraid to admit that it is prophetic inspiration in our day. #givethanks

How can we make positive progress? (continued from Part 1) It seems to me that hate and fear breed more hate and fear. Kindness seems to breed more kindness. One more thought, the world looks different to every individual. Do not mistake a different opinion as hate. For the majority of people who are good, leave them room to be right in their opinion, given their perspective and life circumstances. We should not allow haters to hurt us repeatedly, so stand up for goodness and consider the probability that attacking broad categories of people seems to simply make more haters. All people need love. Heavenly Father’s way is a good way. Let’s not be distracted by negative efforts, let’s go about doing good. -Blake #forceforgood #payitforward #kindness

Where do I stand today? There are distinct and combative factions everywhere I look. There is anger and vengeance, prejudice and counter prejudice, unfair judgement spawned by feeling unfairly judged. Which team am I on? In the heat of the American Civil War, one of President Lincoln’s advisors said he was grateful that God was on the side of the Union. Lincoln replied, “Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side, for God is always right.” I want to be on Heavenly Father’s side. What is His side? His side is love. Matthew 22:36-40. This should be our focus. We should love everyone. We should be striving to love everyone. Do good as you go...(taken from a Nov 1998 Japan/Korea speech I gave) What would you do if you had major money? Jon Huntsman is a man in Utah who has had huge success. He gave $150 million to the University of Utah for cancer research. I think we all look and think that is wonderful, that is what I would do if I had his assets. Well, I think most people get tricked into thinking they will do good when they are very successful. I believe we have our most success if we make a difference as we go. This will make you go faster to where you hope to go. You get a bag of tools to do good. Money, talents, family, career, influence. Use those tools to Improve the life of every person you meet. You will have your greatest success and enjoy the process more. I have seen many success stories good and bad. The most successful are those who look to do good as they go. Be careful who you are when you succeed. Many are quite successful already. Many more of you will experience tremendous success. Remember to be a kind and caring person when you reach your goals. Sometimes money messes people up. Don't let that be you. #payitforward #forceforgood

With today’s Covid-19 pandemic, and the incredible uncertainly that it has placed in our paths, I’m reminded of something I said to distributors in 2002, that applies perhaps even more today than it did then… “I know you have faced many challenges. I know you face plenty today. This is the time to stand tall and live up to your unusual potential. I feel we have a time of great opportunity today for those who refuse to focus on the obstacles. No one offers a more rewarding experience than you do, but that is only one part of the magic. It will not happen because of the great relationships and association that occurs. This is but one part of the magic. It will not be because of the economy or the weather. It will happen because of your hard work and enthusiasm. Years wrinkle the skin but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Amazing things will happen as you stand tall and take advantage of some excellent circumstances by working hard through uncertainty and discouragement. Everything necessary is in place. I know the miraculous stories will continue here. I pray you will be a force for good and keep your success in perspective.” #payitforward #forceforgood

In a speech to Nu Skin distributors in 2002, I said the following, which is as true today as it was back then... "Somehow in all the work and distraction, you (Nu Skin distributors) have remembered that improving lives yields happiness and success. Most people think pursuit of money does. Oddly, the more people you help, the more financial success you reap. The better example you are, the more success you reap. May you each be good examples of a positive life and continue or create such a tradition in your group." #payitforward
