I got a call at work one day… … on my cellular phone from my 4-year-old. I was in a big meeting with some very serious investment bankers. The voice on the other end said "Dad, this is Tannon. Uhm, can you come over and play?” I hung up and said to the very business-minded people in the room, “let’s hurry and finish because I have been invited to go over and play.” That was a great reminder that my FAMILY is the most important thing in the world to me. I hope yours is to you. #payitforward #forceforgood #familytime
Good stuff, it put a smile on my face!
I love what you had to say and you are SO correct. Many blessings Rose Smith
Blake, thank you for being a visible ally to everyone, male and female, trying to balance work and home and needing it to be "OK".
If there is a positive within this whole period of dealing with the coronavirus it's been that it has allowed many people to reflect and realize how truly important family is. I've heard this many times when I speak with candidates who are now contemplating going in another direction in their career. It's not all about the money folks!
I hope, as adults, we always prioritize playtime with our loved ones, especially the little ones.
Fantastic post! I love this attitude.
Love this! Just sent my baby off to college ...they grow up too fast!
