🌟 Reflecting on my first 100 Days at Kyndryl & Celebrating Our 2nd Anniversary 🌟 What's in a name? For us at Kyndryl, everything. 'Kyn', reminiscent of 'kin', speaks to the profound connections we forge with our customers and colleagues - connections that are the cornerstone of our business. The suffix '-dryl', evoking 'tendril', represents our dedication to fostering new growth and reaching out to create new networks. In my first 100 days as part of this remarkable team, I've found that these values resonate deeply with my own passion for continuous learning. It's a curiosity that compels me to dive deep into the complexities of our clients' challenges and emerge with solutions that not only meet but anticipate their needs. In this way, my personal drive mirrors the tendrils of Kyndryl, reaching out to create not just solutions, but partnerships and possibilities. At Kyndryl, our people are the heart of our business. Every interaction, every project is an opportunity to learn from one another and from the diverse industries we serve. This mutual growth is what propels us forward. As we mark Kyndryl's second anniversary, I am reminded of the progress we've made and the future we're building together. My journey here is still at its beginning, but the bonds and growth I've experienced are the very embodiment of the 'heart of progress' that Kyndryl represents. To my Kyndryl colleagues, our customers, and our partners - thank you for contributing to our shared journey of progress and transformation. Here's to growing, learning, and innovating together in the years to come. #IAmProgressInAction #HeartOfProgress #Kyndyrl2ndAnniversary

Celebrating Kyndryl's 2nd anniversary, I reflect on my progress. Picture me as an intrepid explorer, always eager to uncover new frontiers, but one who understands that the real treasures lie in the collective effort. You see, going it alone might carve out a path to individual glory, but it's the collective energy that truly propels us toward victory. That's why I find myself equally at home on a rugged hiking trail and amidst the electrifying camaraderie of a Rugby. Sharing with others is my forte, and there's nothing quite like the thrill of witnessing someone else's success, knowing that my contribution played a part in their triumph. Perhaps that's why the vibrant world of marketing called out to me. In the realm of marketing, I've had the opportunity to: - Collaborate across a diverse array of domains, ensuring that Kyndryl, the up-and-coming "startup" boasting over 90,000 employees, remains firmly in the spotlight. - Dive deep into the desires and needs of our clients, tirelessly working to ensure that our IT solutions not only meet but exceed their expectations, ultimately fostering their business success. This has been the guiding light throughout my journey. As Kyndryl marks two years post its spin from IBM, I can't help but marvel at the significant strides I've made, both personally and professionally. I've broadened my horizons, aligning myself more closely with our passionate business teams and breaking down geographical barriers to foster global cooperation. With an unshakable belief in the power of teamwork, I'm certain that our unwavering dedication will pave the way for remarkable success in the market. Here's to celebrating the spirit of collaboration and the thrill of achieving milestones together! #iamprogressinaction #kyndryl2ndanniversary #kyndryl

Last week I had my work anniversary. Thought the best way to celebrate 12 years was to share 12 things I’ve learned at #salesforce: 1) Vulnerability isn’t a weakness, it’s a superpower. 2) Don’t read the news, make the news. 3) Coach the why, not the how. 4) Choose to be respected more than liked. Both are nice. But respect is essential. 5) Nothing shines like knowing the business: Do your homework. Know your numbers. Get the details right. 6) Know why you stay. 7) Stand for growth - for the business, for yourself, and for the team. 8) Be bold and honest about your boundaries. 9) Build bridges. Not empires. 10) Manure is the best fertilizer. A flower literally has to go through sh!t to grow. 11) Relationships are currency. Invest in the future. 12) Lead with gratitude. Thank you to all my amazing friends who’ve made these 12 years so fun.

This week brings to an end an incredible chapter in my career as 15th March marks the end of my tenure at VMware Tanzu. Where do I even start to describe what an experience it has been?? Having joined Pivotal Software 4 years, 10 months and 10 days ago I knew I was stepping into something exciting. Little did I know that that would put me into situations where I would have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from the industry's greatest individuals and team players. Whilst Pivotal only existed for 10 months from my joining before the acquisition by VMware closed, it set a foundation of what "great" looks like. Introducing me to the Balanced Account Team concept, true collaboration workshops (situations where no amount of sticky notes is ever enough!!) and a mantra to live by inside and outside of the office: "Do the right thing, do what works and if you can be anything, be kind" As we stepped into the realm of VMware, it brought a significant change to the world of Pivotal but I came through the door with confidence that the culture and EPIC values of VMware would bring a great place to grow my career and an extended world of incredible people to work with. Since the transition VMware has given me such highs, incredible experiences and most importantly, great colleagues who I am privileged to call great friends. How do I summarise VMware?? Here's an an analogy of VMware compared to an EPIC Hollywood Blockbuster (convenient given the Oscars have just passed); - The Lead Characters - the best sales teams in the industry! The Cillian Murphy's and Emma Stone's who set the screen alight with their presence and grace - the deals that followed certainly became award worthy! - The Supporting Cast - those that make the world turn and create the atmosphere for every scene. This is the marketing, product management, customer success, sales operations... the guys and gals that allow the sales teams to deliver their epic performances! - The Directors - Leadership... the Spielbergs of the software industry. Forever imparting wisdom, the small changes that lead to big things! Piecing together each scene and guiding towards the denouement (I had to look this word up but it's the film industry term for final scene 😉 ) - The Crew - the un-sung heroes! From legal to deal management to finance... the teams that, without them, no "set" would exist! Forever finding ways to create the foundations of the scenes that keep the audience engaged! It's a recipe that's delivered Oscar winner after Oscar winner! There are so many people that I could thank for making the last (nearly) 5 years of my career so enjoyable - too many to mention here sadly. But, I hope you are all already aware of the impact you have had and how grateful I am of the opportunity to work with you. I am and will be forever grateful. Now... for the next chapter... stay tuned!

It’s Kyndryl’s 2nd anniversary as an independent company and I’m taking the occasion to celebrate personal progress. I’m a gardener. There is nothing I love more than planting seeds, seeing green shoots emerge and grow. About 3 years ago when I learned that a major unit of IBM was spinning off to form a new company, I immediately raised my hand to help. I had experience with acquisitions and developing new business units, but never with a spin-off. And what a spin off! More than 80K people around the globe responsible for running mission-critical systems for many of the world’s largest companies. I wanted to be a part of transplanting and cultivating those deep roots to produce even greater yield. Joining Kyndryl I took on responsibility for leading market insights and customer experience which combined areas I have deep expertise in, solution and alliance marketing, with areas which were new for me - market intelligence, voice of the customer research and analyst relations. The scope of the role was daunting at first, but learning from a very talented cross functional team it has been a fantastic vehicle for personal growth. I love working with analysts and our customers directly to deeply understand market dynamics and customer experience. This ‘outside in’ perspective informs our strategy to support growth through delivering new value and innovation to our customers. Kyndryl’s progress is evident in our earnings announced yesterday; We’re transforming our company and supporting our customers’ digital transformation. Although a Fortune 500 company, Kyndryl feels like a startup, and the kinship among employees is tangible. I feel very fortune to be part of this journey, part of #TheHeartof Progress #IamProgressinAction

Anyone who sees the waves of appreciation from your colleagues, subordinates, and your team indicates the huge impact you have made in your position. I'm sure every picture has a great story behind it! I don't want to refer to that because you are a leader, because it became a buzzword although you truly deserve it. But I refer to that because you are an authentic person. Glad to know you and looking forward to seeing the impact you will be making in your next position. #authenticity

I help organizations achieve their business goals through data-driven storytelling. Corporate Communications | Social Media Eminence | Employee Engagement and Internal Communications | Diversity, Inclusion and Equity
As we commemorate #kyndryl2ndanniversary, I find that we are like unique colours on a palette. 🎨 Each time I work with a colleague who has a different perspective, their hue mixes with mine. Each time I have a new lived experience, it enhances my colour. And just like that, I get to be a different shade every day and colour the vast canvas that I'm given. 🖌️ I find myself drawing parallels between my passion for Kathak and corporate communications - a bold and vibrant colour blend if you will. 🤝Connecting with your audience: anyone can dance, but taking your audience on a satthvik journey and giving them something to take away at the end of your performance - laughter, tears or goosebumps - is the sign of a true artist (and a communications professional). 👯♀️💃Working in solitude and teams: while dancing in troupes is all about chemistry and coordination, there is unmatched value in individual riyaaz. It's where we develop refinement and finesse. 👁️🔎Observing the maestro: one of the best gifts of Kathak is the learning curve one has by observing the Guru - how the gaze moves, how the mudras form, how the face softens. At work, I use meetings to really listen and observe people I admire and pick up finer skills along the way. 💪Thriving despite discomfort: as someone with no formal background in dance, learning Kathak was initially daunting and uncomfortable. My feet were always bandaged or sore and I worried it would show in my performance. But like my Guru says, embrace and prepare for discomfort - and keep dancing. There are going to be days that we do work we don't particularly feel comfortable or confident about, but it's the only way we grow! Here's to ever-evolving times for all of us at Kyndryl. I'm excited for our colours to blend in fascinating ways. #iamprogressinaction
