I have seen my team taking naps.
I have noticed my team taking an extra 10-15 mins after Lunch break.
I have observed my colleagues logging off early.
I have witnessed team talking on phone, watching movies, gossiping and yawning.
None of this matters to me at all because they all are humans too.
One does not need to overreact and expect your team to work for the next 9 hours straight. Giving 100% does not mean sitting and working all the time.
An Axe needs to be sharpened for better performance.

Content Manager is not a position to just give away randomly. If you're hiring for a Content Manager it means you are giving them responsibility for creating as well as managing content.
If you still, as a stakeholder, want to re-check the content every time they write something, do not hire a manager. Hire a writer.
If your Content Manager cannot call the shots, you're not giving them the perks that come with a manager role. You are only hiring a junior writer.

- I came across a post where they were hiring a content writer and expecting the guy to have an understanding of expert-level DM strategies.
- I also came across an organization where they were hiring for a copywriter and expecting a guy to run google Ads.
Why do companies expect employees to do the work of two people and receive the salary of just one person?
