If you could choose a gift from an “of the month” club, whether it actually currently exists or not, what gift would you choose? Me? Customizable cheese selections, so I could avoid fillers like dill and choose all the Gruyères and Bries (which probs currently exists). Or or ORRRR… Different combinations of potato chips and dips (which probs does not). This would also need to be customizable. Every “of the month” clubs needs to be customizable. The Purpose of the Post: In my last blog post, 'A Guide to the Cuts of Beef Part Two,' I delved into the chuck portion of the cow (steer). I discussed the importance of different cooking methods based on the location of cuts within the chuck. Additionally, I outlined the various cuts that comprise the chuck portion, emphasizing its position in the front quarter of the cow.

(Warning: not work related) Where are the best places to get great meats? I got some advice from the most decorated bbq pit master out there. Just took a friends trip to southern Georgia to learn for 3 days how to make the best bbq from Myron Mixon. And he shared his tips for the best place to buy various meats (same places he buys meat when he does bbq competitions. (FWIW, from a business perspective, I think it would be a very cool, unique spot/group to do a corporate event at if you can make the trek). For beef he suggested Snake River Farms. Specifically for their American waygu. https://lnkd.in/gNp7zG2g For pork he suggested Compart Duroc meats. Side note: they’re the only place that he know who will ship you a whole hog for a pig roast. https://lnkd.in/g6PTWnc7 And for chicken they suggested Smart Chicken.
