Through dedication and hard work, I've achieved something truly remarkable in my academic journey that I can't wait to tell you about. It's been an incredible experience navigating challenges and striving for excellence, and I'm thrilled to share this significant accomplishment with you all. During my journey as an international graduate student in Data Science and Analytics at Grand Valley State University, spanning from August 28, 2023 to December 9, 2023, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA with the help of "MOTHER MARY" was an incredible milestone. Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, including juggling an on-campus part-time job and encountering weather-related disruptions that occasionally led to missed classes, I remained steadfast in my commitment to excel academically. Balancing work and studies was demanding, and there were moments when scheduling conflicts caused me to miss valuable classroom sessions. Additionally, weather conditions occasionally posed logistical hurdles, making it challenging to attend classes regularly. However, these obstacles only fueled my determination. I utilized every available resource to catch up on missed coursework, engaged proactively with professors during office hours, and leveraged online learning materials to stay on track. Through perseverance and a strong sense of resilience, I was able to maintain focus and dedication, ensuring that each subject was diligently studied and understood, culminating in a series of A grades across all courses. This journey has not only honed my academic prowess but has also reinforced the value of adaptability and determination in the pursuit of one's goals. Recently, I had the privilege of going back to my old high school. Not as a student this time, but as someone hoping to shed a little light on the world of Data Science. It was pretty wild, standing in those same corridors I once walked as a teenager, hoping to give the students a peek into their potential futures. Looking at those eager faces in the crowd, I couldn't help but see a bit of my younger self in them. Answering their thought-provoking questions, sharing stories from my own journey - it all made me realize how just a few years can make a world of difference. Sure, we talk about the future in terms of AI, Big Data, Machine Learning and all that jazz, but let's not forget - these students, they're the real deal. They'll be part of bringing big concepts like these to life. For me, this wasn't just about sharing my experiences. It was about hopefully sparking something in these students, encouraging them to learn, explore, and push boundaries. If my journey can help even one of them see the potential in a career like Data Science, well, I'd call that a win. After all, who's going to shape the future? It's not some far-off concept. It's them - the curious, the fearless, the ready-to-take-on-the-world students sitting in our classrooms right now. So here's to them - the future coders, data wizards, problem solvers. 🎓🚀 I am very happy and proud to announce the successfull completion of my Masters in MSc Data Science & Business Analytics! (Even though it was already in March - better a late post than none 😄) 📊💼 It was a big challenge to manage the part-time master study alongside my daily work. It meant, especially during the master thesis, a lot of studying until late at night, a high level of commitment and, above all, discipline. 🌙💪 As someone with a commercial background in International Business, the transition into this field came with a steep learning curve that required a deep dive into the world of data, coding, artificial intelligence and algorithms. 🌱💻 All the work, effort and learning was more than worth it and I am very proud of myself for successfully completing the studies despite the given challenges. I'm looking forward to applying the knowledge I have acquired in practice. 📈🤝 I would like to thank the people around me, which have supported and motivated me tirelessly on this path. 🙏💫 Little fun fact: I chose this study program at HS Aalen primarily because of the concept of on-site lectures once a month.
