When evaluating for a solar installer, we value a couple of things: 🔆Vertically Integrated EPC 🔆Commercial Solar Specialty 🔆In-house Build Crews 🔆Highly Rated by Customers 🔆Community-Driven With these in mind, we are then able to choose an installer that cares deeply about the quality of their projects! This ensures we can deliver the highest-quality projects from impact investors to the institutions they love.

Let's talk about solar projects for a moment. I've found that it's not just about the panels—it's about finding what works best for each person or business. If you've got customers looking for a solution that doesn't mess with their balance sheet, gives them instant savings, and sticks with them for the long haul, a PPA is the way to go! And for you as an EPC partner, here's the deal: - Loads of Experience: I've been part of hundreds of projects for the last decade, so you can bet I've learned a thing or two. - Simple Approval: The approval process is as painless as possible, so you can focus on getting more projects done. - Quick Offers: Need an offer fast? No problem! I'll get a pre-qualified offer to you in just a couple of days. Wanna chat more about PPAs? Book a 15-minute call and see why more contractors are winning projects with a PPA. #CommercialSolar #PPA

You’re probably looking for ways to finance your next C&I solar project, but are being told by your previous source for PPA’s, that things have “changed”. Now you have to go back to your client and deliver the bad news. You put in all of this effort. Permitting. Engineering. Interconnection. Executed the PPA. Purchased products. Had partners lined up. Aiming for a 2023 completion. Now you must stop. Delivering more bad news to everyone. What if there was another way? If you have a project or portfolio ready to go, perhaps there is help for you still. Do you have a data room with specific details about your opportunity that can be reviewed, ASAP? If you can verify and validate the above aforementioned items have been completed, we should talk. Received one of these surprise calls last week. Deep into underwriting the deal now and teeing up the milestone payments to reach PTO in December. Time to deliver some good news before 2024 arrives. Your client will be glad you did. So will your partners. Send me a message to get your PPA in 2023. Have a positive end-of-the-year review for everyone. Panda for attention!

Who Can Perform Solar Work in California? When it comes to sunshine year-round, you can’t get much closer than California’s perpetually summerish weather. And with sunshine comes opportunity – solar panels are in growing demand throughout the state, with government subsidies and incentives improving the attractiveness of solar panels to homeowners. Thankfully, there are thousands of licensed contractors qualified to install photovoltaic solar energy systems under California Contractors State Licensing Board standards. The CSLB is notorious for strict, well-defined guidelines on who can work on what type of job in the state as a construction contractor – and crossing the CSLB is a big no-no for construction workers in the state. With that in mind, who can work on solar panel jobs in California? In this article, we’ll cover the basics of solar panel installation – including exactly who can install solar panels in the state, as per the CSLB. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gDxvN9cD

On September 25th, I had the opportunity to submit a commentary on the proposed 2024 Long-Term Renewable Resource Procurement Plan. I see this as an important and essential step to address areas of concern that are hindering the smooth implementation of solar installations here in IL. In my essay, I aim to list out my top 4 concerns with proposed changes, as well as address the extensive reporting requirements facing the industry, and how reducing them may benefit the industry. Always appreciate feedback and I hope this post sheds some light on the challenges companies within the solar industry face in complying with the LTRRPP.

Sustainable Energy Finance expert helping businesses to reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint, specialise in Onsite Power Purchase Agreement Finance, both Asset & Project Finance and Social Housing Finance.
Collaborate with Solar Installers and Developers seeking fully funded PPA options to present to their clients. Our network of PPA funders comprises Asset Finance and Infrastructure Funds, each offering distinct USPs and structures tailored to meet your client's specific needs. I frequently get asked about the disparities between Fixed, Tracker, and Index Linked PPAs, as well as their long-term financial implications. To address this, I've provided a case study example. Which one would you choose and why? For risk-averse sectors like Local Government Offices, Schools, and the NHS, a Fixed or Tracker (Discount to Market) PPA is often more suitable. However, the Index Linked option provides an immediate and substantial reduction in energy costs of up to 50% compared to their current tariff, beginning from day one. If you're a Solar Installer or Developer interested in offering PPAs to your commercial clients, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I met a contractor through LinkedIn less than a month ago, and I already helped them win a $1.5M solar project. It all started with a "book a meeting" button, and the rest is a feel-good story. For the past few months, I've been sharing personal and PPA stories on LinkedIn. Meeting new people and connecting with industry peers has been great, but the new relationships we've built in our EPC network have been truly remarkable. In this particular case, an EPC and developer had a project that couldn't find financing—a common issue in CA—but we found a solution that allowed them to install in 2024. Here's how we made the deal possible in just a week: 📅 We had a 15-minute call through the "book a meeting" link in my post. 📝 We signed an NDA the next day and started reviewing the project within the same week. 📋 In just five days, we delivered a Pre-Q PPA and helped them present it to the customer a couple of days later. 🖋 We held two QA sessions with both the offtaker and EPC to align timeframes and agree on terms. In less than three weeks, we went from perfect strangers to industry partners, providing day-one savings to the building owner. And the best part? We're already reviewing their second project. Book a quick call and find out how I can help you close more projects and become a reliable partner for your organization. #PPA #Solar #CommercialSolar
