What does it take to design the city of the future? Together with my colleagues on last Tuesday, we traced the development of Siemensstadt Square from the initial idea to the laying of the foundation stone. We talked about everything from the digital design process to AI-enabled optimization, the nuances of biodiversity to the unique opportunities of brownfield development. We saw how the Siemens Xcelerator platform has enabled us to create a blueprint for digital, sustainable, and competitive city of the future.
