4th ASEAN-India Automotive Powertrain Summit 2024 on Sep. 5-6, 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand
ASEAN state members and India are repeating China's development roadmap 20 years ago: vigorous development of infrastructure and the rapid increase of the middle class with considerable purchasing power, which provides excellent market opportunities for the commercial vehicles and passenger cars.
Meanwhile, massive fuel consumption and import together with huge gasoline and diesel subsidies have stretched local finances, so ASEAN state members and India have successively introduced their own regulations, standards and incentive policies for energy efficient vehicles and low-carbon emission vehicles especially for biodiesel, CNG, hydrogen and xEVs.
With the theme of Green Power + Electric Drive, this summit will gather Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways of India and Bureau of Energy Efficiency of India to provide an authoritative interpretation of the fuel economy & BS VII norms together with stimulus policies on low-carbon emission vehicles of ASEAN state members and India.
Also all the industry leaders like Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Cummins, Daimler Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Hyundai Motors, Toyota, Honda, BYD, Proton, Perodua, VinFast, CATL, Bosch, ZF etc. will share high-pressure CRS for diesel engines meeting BS VII standard, SCR, DPF technology, 4th generation of i-MMD dual-motor hybrid system, ePowertrain Technologies under the era of 800V and SDV, charging and swapping, CNG, H2 ICE and Hydrogen FCEV technology etc.
