Challenged Athletes Foundation’s Post

When Femita Ayanbeku was 11 years old, she was in a car accident that resulted in the loss of her right leg below the knee. She attended a running and mobility clinic where she was introduced to the CAF community, and she went on to become the US women’s T64 100m National Champion after just six months of training! Femita's been on the national team since 2016, and an Össur Sports Prosthesis Grant will help her level up and fulfill her next sport dreams - including the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

Thank you Challenged Athletes Foundation and Össur for giving Femita Ayanbeku a chance at life. You gave her a blade at age 23 and now she’s flying!🦋#TeamDromos
