Our shift to hybrid is a continuing journey as we live up to our Core Value of Team Excellence. The important thing we clarified at the start is that it's not about telling employees where they should work on specific days. Rather, it's about empowering our people to choose the set up that works best for them in terms of productivity as framed by Gustavo Razetti in "Remote Not Distant" . When we gave them the choice, many of our people still chose to report onsite full time. A few chose hybrid, Mon-Tue onsite, then the rest remote. While there are still adjustments being made, productivity has stayed the same for our good performers. Those who chose hybrid and didn't perform well in the office were exposed sooner and weeded out. Their managers could no longer substitute visibility for performance.
