And it’s essential for local government since it’s typically the level of government that people interact with the most. Given rampant misinformation (like unverified quotes and AI-generated images), fostering trust has become particularly challenging for government agencies. In this post, PayIt is trying to answer the question: What should agencies focus on to restore trust?

In this wonderful week, I'll continue sharing lessons from my health literacy program. I attended Augustine Kumah, MPH class on Community Engagement in Public Health. Community engagement is crucial for successful public health programs. It involves involving community members and empowering them to participate actively in planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives. It encompasses needs assessment, cultural competency, partnership, empowerment, communication, education, interventions, feedback, advocacy, monitoring, and evaluation. I learned principles, enabling factors, problem types, and how engagement drives change in behavior, environment, policies, programs, and practices within communities. #HLLP #healthliteracy #publichealth #communityengagement
