DOT DOT DOT: A New Musical is an exciting new musical based on the Creatrilogy trio of award-winning picture books by New York Times bestselling author Peter H. Reynolds- The Dot, Ish and Sky Color. Adapted by Composers Keelay Gipson and Sam Salmond, the musical, like the series, celebrates the power of originality, self-expression, and opening our eyes to look beyond the expected. https://twusa.org/dot/

Snoopy Milton An American Musical T-Shirt Snoopy Milton An American Musical is a unique musical that starts out as an account of a day in the life of an average American family and quickly transforms into a strong exploration of the current racial and social issues gripping the nation. It tackles millennial anxieties, the search for identity, and ultimately uses music to reveal our shared dreams and fears. Snoopy Milton works not just as an entertaining piece of theatre, but also as a powerful commentary on social justice. Its characters make us think about how our lives intersect with the world around us while its songs remind us that the brokenness of today can be overcome with hope. The power of this show lies in its ability to connect seemingly disparate points of view and forge a path toward solidarity and healing. In this way, Snoopy Milton An American Musical provides a hopeful message to the world: we can all work together to create a better tomorrow. Media & Entertainment Pro (SkyShowtime - RTL - Canal+), Writer and Content Advocate. X: Robin Logjes | The Screen Addict
The Screen Addict Recommends – The Phantom of the Opera (2004) Remember that time when Gerard Butler and Joel Schumacher remade The Phantom of the Opera? Probably not. It will be worth your while to check this all but forgotten oddity out, though. I am an unapologetic fan of Schumacher’s work (see also: https://lnkd.in/gREWg3Z4) and I guess it actually makes perfect sense that the flamboyant filmmaker tackled the movie version of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical. I mean – a man who puts nipples on the Batsuit clearly has a knack for the operatic… The production design on this movie-musical is simply stunning, and it’s hard to deny the splendor of Lloyd Webber’s majestic music and lyrics. The Phantom of the Opera is Broadway’s longest running show ever, yet Schumacher’s film version was not a resounding hit. Reviews were mostly good, but with a worldwide take of $150 million on a $70 million budget, TPotO probably lost money (factoring in marketing spend and cinema share). A shame, because I truly believe this is one of Butler’s very best films. He took on TPotO two years before his career really took off with 300 (2006), and has more or less lingered in the comfort zone of Action hero ever since. I, for one, would love to see Butler tackle another bold performance like TPotO. With a voice like that, there’s no reason why he couldn’t be a leading man in the next big Broadway adaptation. In any event… Seek it out & get your fix. #thescreenaddict #film #movies #contentrecommendation #celebrateart #nobodyknowsanything
