Work both virtually and in an in-person work environment in our Boston office. Candlewick, Holiday House, and Peachtree Publishing seek a Trade Marketing Assistant for our team. Reporting to the VP of Trade Marketing, this position will support the overall team by brainstorming marketing campaigns with the group across all channels, creating and maintaining seasonal grids, writing and routing select print and online materials, coordinating mailings for Trade and Regional ABA events and promotions, and maintaining the marketing database of booksellers. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: o Updating and maintaining marketing plans and advertising grids o Updating and maintaining promotional materials grids o Supporting Vice President, Trade Marketing on key projects o Assisting Marketing Managers on a selection of title promotions each season o Other projects and administrative responsibilities as needed Required Skills & Experience The ideal candidate should be creative, analytical, highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, as well as have exceptional detail orientation and written and verbal communication skills, strong word processing skills and intermediate Excel skills.
