As I reach my second anniversary at IBM, I want to take a moment to reflect on this incredible journey. It's been a time of growth, challenges, and invaluable lessons. Sharing my lessons hoping it can be incredibly valuable for those starting out or seeking inspiration. 1. Stay Curious: In our fast-paced world, continuous learning is essential. Embracing new tools and technologies like MDM Publisher, Match360 , watsonx.data and Watsonx.ai has kept me ahead of the curve and opened new doors. 2. Mentorship: Great mentors can change the trajectory of your career. Likewise, mentoring others has deepened my understanding and honed my leadership abilities. 3. Diverse Projects: Engaging with various industries has expanded my horizons and enhanced my adaptability. 4. Global Networks: Building connections with experts around the world has provided diverse perspectives and critical support, especially during complex projects. 5. Innovation: We must never fear exploring new frontiers. This approach has led to significant advancements in AI and data management. 6. Client Value: Delivering consistently high-quality results builds trust and strengthens your reputation. 7. Embrace Challenges: Facing tough assignments head-on has pushed my limits and improved my skills. 8. Collaboration: Success is rarely achieved alone. Effective teamwork and collaboration are fundamental to achieving our goals. 9. Work-Life Balance: Balancing work with personal life is crucial. Being present for my family, especially my young son, and prioritizing mental health and fitness has been essential. 10. Reflect and Share: Taking time to reflect on our journeys and sharing our lessons learned can inspire continuous improvement and motivate others. These lessons encapsulate my journey at IBM and offer valuable insights for anyone aspiring to grow and succeed. Thank you Radu BORCEA for inviting me to tell my IBM story. As someone who has worked at multiple global orgs and startups, I am always amazed at how IBM keeps evolving and it's culture brings the best out of its employees...and with friends and colleagues across the world..I can see why..IBM's biggest strength is the IBMer...always looking to go one step more.. always looking to do it better than yesterday. The coolest thing about the company IMO is that once you have acquired the right aptitude and attitude.. you can literally grow your career in any part of the organisation and get involved in projects that are really cutting edge. My career for example has evolved from someone who worked on marketing tools to working in the field to grow the business. From my POV, here are three aspects of our 10x culture that I really admire: 1. Relentless focus on value to clients and partners: As buying patterns evolve, the consideration for technology adoption doesn’t necessarily happen through siloed interactions digitally/F2F, but happens through demonstrating relevancy to address business challenges. Our focus as marketing and comms professionals is not just to capture and create demand, but to enable thoughtful decision making that puts our clients and partners at a point of leverage for sustained growth. The purpose is much deeper. 2. Your role is bigger than your function: A purpose driven org needs to have strong alignment across operations, finance, engineering and sales functions. At IBM, Marketing and Comms is not an afterthought but has a seat at the table to co-create interactions that effectively articulate the business value of our products and solutions. When 10X (:X being the IBMer) come together, the conversations are more end-end and our future actions are more deliberate. 3. Impact > Process: New logos, top account expansion, creating memorable engagements in the field, building compelling narratives..whatever your mission is.. you will find endless resources and additional hands from across the company to support the mission…as long as the impact is clear. Once you have a demonstrated application of an idea, you get ample breadth to scale and make a global impact. Come be 10x at IBM. Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, India | Chairperson of AMCHAM National Executive Board, USISPF India Advisory Board & WEF Regional Action Group for South Asia | Tech enthusiast
Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced impressive results for Q3 FY23. The annualized revenue run-rate was up 48 percent to $1.3 billion as the HPE GreenLake platform accelerates our as-a-service pivot. Our strategic and intentional portfolio shift for the last several years has driven us toward high-growth, high-margin sectors. This has boosted recurring revenue, gross margin, EPS, and free cash flow, even amidst market dynamics. Our results are a testament to our methodical strategy, commitment to innovation, precise execution, and exceptional teams behind the scenes. I can proudly say that we are not only keeping up but also setting ourselves apart. https://lnkd.in/dKeWz2Jq Rajesh Dhar | Amer Warsi | Kamal Kashyap | Rishi Gupta | Bhawna Agarwal | Sandeep Pendharkar | Sailesh Menezes | Harleen Sachdeva Pattnaik (She/Her) | Manoj Krishna | Gopalswamy Srinivasan | Aseem Vardhan | RANGANATH SADASIVA

Sales Performance Expert & Technique Coach; Sales Consulting; Sales Training & Coaching; Sales Problem Solver; B2B Specialist; Sales Leader Mentoring; Accountability Coach; Sales Process & Revenue Growth
Practice & Feedback When IBM was rebuilding the company to compete with nimble Silicon Valley competitors, Lou Gerstner brought in "radical" Janet Mc Allister as Global Head of Learning. She analysed the way that people learned within IBM. Within departments it was relatively slow and across functions it was much much worse. She was one of the first HR leaders to deliver technology enabled self-paced learning that could be accessed nearly anywhere on earth. But that was not all of it. The technology delivered the knowledge but in addition McAllister introduced practice and feedback sessions as a key part of the learning process. She included everyone in the value chain from software engineers to sales executives to deliver the accumulated experience of the company to the customer. Think on this before your next sales training initiative. Knowledge is one thing but communication is quite another. #sales #b2bsales #selling #salesskills #solutionsales #salestraining #salesperformance #salesenablement #salesimprovement #salescoach #salescoaching #salesleadership #salessuccess

What do IBM, Deloitte, Microsoft, Dell, Hewlett Packard and Salesforce have in common? Firstly, they are world-leading organisations. Secondly, their innovations drive workplace efficiencies. Thirdly, each one of these corporations actively recruits neurodivergent employees. This third point isn’t an act of philanthropy, it is part of their drive for excellence and success. Take a closer look at the advantages of a neurodiverse workforce in my recent article: https://lnkd.in/d6ARQDXQ #leadershipchallenge
