If you pay direct debit for your energy at home and don’t have a smart meter then put a meter reading into your supplier before Monday. The price cap is dropping by 7% on Monday 1st of July, a meter reading means they can’t assume more usage was done earlier when it costs more. I also recommend locking into a fixed price if you can get something below or at price cap as prices will go back up in October and January.

18 customers we have spoken to this week that were out of contract with one or more utilities. We look after most utilities and most times with your current supplier so you don’t even need to change. It’s a case of negotiating a better deal which we do for you. Here’s the biggest savings we have made this week for business owners Gas and electricity - customer hasn’t had the time to look at this with a busy start to the year.. we saved £1400 on gas and £900 on electricity per year! Water - customer moved in to new premises and got their first bill which was high, we saved £730 per year Broadband and phone - Customer had crap broadband with it constantly going down, we increased speed by 6x for £6 per month and got a new VoIP system to help manage phone lines. Card machine - customer paying shocking rates we managed to HALVE their rates and get next payments rather than wait 3 days for payments resulting in a saving of £2200 per year. Waste management - Customer has been getting missed bin collections and overweight charges, we have got them a deal with an extra bin, no overweight charges and realible collections for the same price they were paying.
