Tanishq's ad, "Fathers, Written by Daughters," beautifully shows dads learning alongside their daughters. The traditional image of dads as simply the fix-it guys is evolving. Today, they're champions of change, encouraging open communication and calculated risks – essential skills for the modern world. Lifelong learning is important. Fathers who embrace this with their daughters send a powerful message: growth is essential. But fatherhood extends beyond daughters. As Connor Beaton says, "A father's ability to regulate his own nervous system and anger response will be the baseline example of how a boy learns to regulate himself and defines what girls will come to expect from men." Fathers can challenge stereotypes by expressing emotions and creating open communication with sons. This promotes emotional literacy, crucial for healthy relationships. Last year, October into the Christmas was a mad rush as I completed the last units of my Executive Master of Business Administration degree and celebrated the first year of parenthood (and the completion of my studies) with family that there are a few stunning commissions I didn't get the chance to share with you all. So flashback to November, check out Ripples of Opportunity created for Aboriginal-owned plumbing business HPG Solutions. Story behind Ripples of Opportunity "Ripples of Opportunity" is centred around key themes of personal growth, community, and the far-reaching effects of individual decisions. At its heart, the footprints represent Lee's journey, and the choices he has made along the way that create a platform for positive opportunities for generations to come. The ripples either side of Lee’s Journey represent HPG being a people-focused business and the positive impact providing support and communication can have in igniting a chain reaction and fostering a nurturing environment. The outer bottom ripple symbolises Lee's connection to his country, the Blue Mountains, and the outer top ripple, serves as a reminder of the power we hold in shaping our own journeys through the choices we make.
