Cedar Fair Entertainment Company’s Post

Today we announced the 65 winners of the 2024 Cedar Fair Purpose Awards, celebrating those associates across the organization who consistently go above and beyond to make people happy. The winners were selected from a record 977 nominations -- an incredible number for just the third year of our recognition program. Over the past few weeks, our parks and corporate offices have hosted celebrations for their local winners. There have been lots of cheers, hugs and applause for these associates, who have a wide variety of roles and very diverse backgrounds. But one thing they all share in common is the focus on doing whatever it takes to make people happy. Congratulations to all of our winners and nominees!

Congrats to the winners! My favorite Amusement Park story is about Cole Lindbergh, a guy who embodied the spirit of these awards. https://www.thisamericanlife.org/443/amusement-park

That's wonderful! As a theme park enthusiast, it's great to see those associates who make our expereince a little "extra" get rewarded. Congrats to the recipients. (my home park is Kings Island! 😎)

What a fantastic initiative. Walt Disney once said, “You can dream, create, design, and build the most wonderful place in the world…but it requires people to make the dream a reality.” Thanks for recognizing the dreamers.
