Initially, it was used in the military sphere to describe the art of efficiently moving armies and their supplies. ✅ The first parcel was sent more than 4,000 years ago. ✅ The world’s largest warehouse is over 1.5 million square meters that’s bigger than 300 football fields. ✅ Barcodes were originally designed as a way to keep track of railway cars as they traveled across the country. They first began to show up in the country's supermarkets in 1974. ✅ The world's largest ship, the Hyundai Merchant Marine Algeciras, used for logistics, is 61 meters wide and 399.9 meters long.
