Celebrating Santiago’s 15th anniversary, many people have asked me about the #secrets to successfully building and leading a #consulting company through the ups and downs. So, I took some minutes to reflect. 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱: 1️⃣ Choose your co-founders: #Diversity drives success The three of us couldn't be more different! One always reaches for the stars. The ambition can never be high enough. Another one puts EVERYTHING into a structure. Everything gets an inner order. And the third... well, I can't think of anything special about him. 2️⃣ Shape your #mindset: Anything is possible To all startups out there: "The sky is the limit." It's possible to win a DAX company as a customer in the first month. It's possible to place regular articles in the Handelsblatt in the first year. In essence, everything is within reach. Dare to dream! 3️⃣ Create your perfect working #environment: Values are essential Values come to life when we lead by example and infuse them into our actions. Founding Santiago Advisors, we knew what we wanted, but we were shaped by what we no longer wanted. We had learned that it was about creating an environment where talents can thrive. 4️⃣ Build your team with diligence: #People make the difference Surround yourself with colleagues who are different and better than you. Invest in new and different skills. Learn to be a bridge builder to retain the best talent and develop them to where they want to go.
