Entering my next chapter 🚀

Today is my last day at LinkedIn! It has been such a transformational experience as an engineer and as a leader. I still remember the small company vibes at Stierlin Court where I jammed on zero-to-one projects across 4 teams in 4 years. Then in 2015, I joined LinkedIn Learning immediately after the Lynda acquisition to help launch a new line of business for the company. I love the close knit culture that we built on this team that endured for so many years. Looking ahead, I am excited to take the summer off! My older child is in middle school and I feel like this is such a golden opportunity spend time with my kids before they become mostly independent. When I get back in the fall, I look forward to reconnecting and exploring new ventures. For fun, I want to tag a few people for some notable facts! 🤝 Johnson L. referred me to LinkedIn 😳 Ryan Roslansky and Allen Blue were on my interview panel 🧡 Jason Ko was my first "work friend" and made me feel really welcomed 🌟 My direct managers along the way who helped me grow as a leader: Ruslan Belkin, Mohak Shroff, James Richards, Anand Bollini, Greg Bayer, Asif Makhani, Erica Lockheimer, Anurag Chaudhry, M Chutake, Rahul Sule 🤗 My longest tenure direct reports are Anurag Rawat and Aparna Krishnan. How did you guys put up with me for so long?! As I conclude this chapter of my career, I am grateful for all of the memories and relationships that we have built. I hope that we can keep in touch!

Chris, it's been a privilege and I'm sorry I won't have the chance to make a harder work life for you this summer. It's a big of a shock that we haven't had more direct work together. Same for Jason Ko--the list time he and I worked together might have been in 2029 (the building, not the year). I think...are you possibly Ruslan's last team-member still here?

You will be missed. Thank you for always guiding me and the team in right direction. Learning and many of us would not be here if it was not for you. You invested in all of us personally and professionally. I remember all the re-orgs and you reaching out to make sure that we were doing good. So much passion about work along with loads of empathy have been truly inspiring for me. Your support and teaching have gifted many of us with perspective and direction that we would not have otherwise had. I wish you all the very best for this next chapter❤️

Chris Your contributions to LiL are immense, and your absence will definitely be felt for a long time. I might be biased because you were my HM, but you are one of the strongest engineering managers I have worked with. There are a couple of key pieces of advice from you that I will always carry with me. Beyond work, you are such a positive influence, truly uplifting the team. It was a pleasure to work with you. Best of luck for you next play ❤️

One of the biggest/bestest hearts in this big-hearted crew. And who took that amazing launch picture and got Lindsey Shintani to crack up thusly? Soooo many great faces and folks in that moment. (hey Blake Buisson, Tanya Staples, Greg Bayer, Arun J, Hilary Shirazi, Michael McLernon, Caroline Gaffney Nur Selcen Duygun and a million more... :-) ) Lucky to know you, Chris and looking forward to staying in touch!

It's been a pleasure to know you and work with you. I look forward to our paths crossing again!!!

Well deserved time off and self-rediscovery! You were always great to work with and are one of those rare people who are as awesome at their job as they are awesome at being a human. Rooting for you and looking forward to seeing what your next chapter of life brings you! No matter what it is, be it personal or professional, I know you will be successful.
