We create powerful podcasts - because most people don't want to know *how* to do a podcast - they just want one and we do that for them.
Zoom is for meetings, not for podcasts. The small investment in recording quality will help you rise above the din of mediocrity. If you must, Mac users can now use Ecamm Network, LLC with Zoom and level up their presentation and quality. For the price of an XBox, you can get a great affordable dynamic mic, put some fluffy stuff in your room and get an Insta360 HD webcam. Software like Riverside.fm or StreamYard also give you some simple, yet effective ways to create a podcast that doesn’t look and feel like a meeting. You’re on mute. Rise above the noise.
Omg 😳 really? I better use my Streamyard for recording more… I didn’t know Zoom has a tell or quality thing… the reason I think I prefer it is my play with backgrounds seems to work much better and be more portable (don’t always need physical greenscreen like w SY)… hmmm 🤔 thanks for the psa though. I just tried CreateStudio for a voiceover instead of Camtasia or Zoom and really think it sounds better! 🎤 Have a nice weekend, Chris! 😎
That Insta360 Link webcam is BEAUTIFUL!! Sooooo much better than most of the webcams that claim to be HD or 4K. It handles low light beautifully! Nearly no grain. And YES, no to Zoom video podcasts, lol! (Sorry got distracted by the tech :))
And that’s one to grow on!
I could NOT AGREE MORE. Thank you for saying what needed to be said. 😀
