This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, so with that in mind let's delve into the essence of nature and kindness, reflecting on the complex 'Jigsaw of Life'.   As humans, we are inherently complex people, so why do we stigmatise the experience of #mentalhealthissues as if it were a failing?   Our brains are marvellously detailed orchestrators of our being. When I returned home from USA, I had an unexpected and unprepared stay of hospitalisation due to suffering a Global Transient Amnesia attack, triggered by underlying stress and delayed bereavement of the loss of my Dad. To this day, I still do not remember the hours lost and it was many but I do recall a nurse shared her profound insight with me on the Power of the Brain, and I think about It often. She highlighted the remarkable resilience of our brains, even in the face of adversity. It struck me that our mental well-being is as intricate and vital as any other aspect of our health or organ within our body.   So, let's extend compassion to ourselves, recognising that everyone encounters rough patches and wrestles with mental health concerns at some point.
