For great companies there is nothing more important than impact and vision.
Shareholder value, profits and everything else comes to them after the fact.
When companies operate from a place of lack and generate fear /challenges in the market, it snowballs into extinction level events.
Remote, when possible, is just one of things that shouldn’t be a standoff point.
It’s about who will dig in and help you create and nurture brand value and value creation.
All cards should be on the table. The more fear and strict structures are put in place, stifling innovation, …
….short term value creation and bad executive strategy is par course.
It’s very unnerving to see how short term thinking and fear based strategy becomes the norm when hiring people.
When you instill fear and stifling strictness , those are the only people who you attract. They will also operate from fear and no trust… not sure how that is a good business strategy.
Would love to analyze with some of my people here on an audio event.

Great companies don't force you to commute, just to sit in an office staring at your screen all day.
