🚀 If you've been following #Phoenix's meteoric rise recently, you know that Phoenix is increasingly becoming a hub of the business events industry. The recent update on the Market Feasibility Study for the Phoenix Convention Center has some eye-opening recommendations that signal even bigger things to come! 💡CSL Tourism, the consulting firm behind the study, suggests that long-term planning and investment in the Phoenix Convention Center is vital for the city to stay competitive. Key recommendations include up to 150,000 square feet of contiguous expansion of the upper exhibit hall and 40,000 square feet of added meeting space, plus supporting infrastructure. CSL also emphasizes the creation of an entertainment district around the Convention Center, adding street-level retail, restaurants, and entertainment - creating a 24/7 hub that attendees will love! 🎉 CSL further recommended adding an additional 800 to 1,200 full-service convention hotel rooms - this, coupled with the growth of Phoenix's meetings and events industry, spells a golden opportunity for businesses and event professionals alike. As HERITAGE has expanded rapidly in the Phoenix market, we've been fortunate to witness first-hand the city's incredible growth and commitment to the business events industry. This proposed expansion of the Phoenix Convention Center would take things to the next level, not only keeping pace with other Convention Center expansions across the nation, but catapulting Phoenix into the top tier of convention destinations. Here's to the future of #Phoenix and the business events industry! 🥂 I don't know about you, but I'm most excited by the prospect of even bigger events coming into our backyard! #KeepItGrowing #EventProfs #MeetingsIndustry #PhoenixGrowth #CityPlannning #ConventionCenter #KeepItGrowing #BusinessEvents Visit Phoenix

Quick question current hospitality folks. Are there any major events coming to your city in 2024 and beyond? The World Cup will be in North America in 2026, I know Minnesota just got granted the IIHF World Juniors Tournament for 2026. Maybe that upcoming Super Bowl or College Football Playoff is coming to your city. Either way, major events can have a massive positive impact on the city they are visiting and your hospitality organization's business but only if that organization has a strategic plan in place to benefit from these events. Check out our Playbook from IDeaS Revenue Solutions to help your hotel take advantage of upcoming major events in your area. #Hospitality #RevenueManagement #MeetingsandEvents #Sales #Events

Our team of venue finders and event managers speak to countless venues each week, proposing the best options for our customers and their briefs. Competition is fierce for venues, and a question that our partner brands and hotels often ask us is, what more could they do to win the business? We put this question to our teams that are seeing influences and decisions made every day, and this is what they had to say… #teamagiito

In March, St. Louis outshone all other top 25 US markets with a whopping 24.3% growth in events volume, making it the leader in the hospitality sector for that period. Key events like sports and national association happenings have played a significant role in this surge. This impressive growth not only puts St. Louis on the map but also positions it ahead of other major cities known for their events, such as Las Vegas and Seattle. Interestingly, while St. Louis and a few other cities saw growth, the US overall experienced an 8.1% decline in events volume year-over-year, attributed to an early Easter and spring breaks. What does this mean for St. Louis's hospitality industry? This surge underscores the importance of diversifying the types of events cities can host. For hotel businesses, particularly in St. Louis, this trend signals prosperous times ahead. Hotels can anticipate higher occupancy rates and potentially increased ADR as event attendees flock to the city. It's a prime opportunity for local hospitality businesses to innovate and enhance their offerings to cater to this growing influx of visitors. This trend could inspire significant discussions within our network. How can other cities replicate St. Louis's success in attracting a diverse range of events? And, what strategies can hospitality businesses employ to maximize the benefits of increased events volume? Share your thoughts and insights on the emerging trends in the hospitality industry and how cities can capitalize on this growth. #StLouisEvents #HospitalityTrends #EventProfs #MeetingProfs #TourismGrowth #HotelIndustry #MarketLeaders #EventPlanning #SportsEvents #AssociationMeetings #TravelAndTourism #HotelOccupancy

What happens in Vegas...depends on a good planner! ✅ It really is a place where anything can happen (budget depending). But there are deals to be had and it is a fantastic place for conference events and incentives. We had an amazing week out there earlier this month. Where in addition to attending a conference event, we also took in a number of hotels, the Fremont Experience zipwire (something James Bacon has been wanting to do for ages!!), spa session, some of the latest restaurants openings, pool parties - even the Rolling Stones at the fantastic Allegiant Stadium! It's a destination that keeps moving and keeps growing with experiences. So whether it's a conference, incentive event or support with team/client activities around an industry Trade Show there. We will ensure you get the most from your event and your budget. For more on Vegas, do get in touch and let's start planning. #wearemeat #eventagency #eventplanners #eventmanagement #conferences #incentives #corporarteevents #lasvegas #experiences
