Hey friends, we're hiring what would traditionally be called a salesperson.
That title is fine, it's not bad.
But it's not fully us.
If you know a human who is:
- Insightful enough in conversation to think of what might be possible
- Grateful to be in relationship with leaders who are navigating tough, competing realities of their business
- Self-aware and empathetic (AKA no commission breath...love that term Nick Termini...don't send stupid, spammy emails and don't leave people feeling that ew feeling)
- Trustworthy by being competent, solving real problems, and caring for others in a big way (Cory Scheer's model)
- Tenacious as all hell in giving context, driving next steps, being particular in their communication and care
They might be interested in what we're doing.
For us, "sales" doesn't look like:
- Hard sells
- Discounts based on a deadline
- Sharpening any pencils
- Someone winning and someone losing
- Sweetening any deals
- Smiling and dialing
- Spam city
- Negotiating to have leverage
- Closing deals
- Transactions, scoreboards, or ringing bells
In short, Guild grows when we help others grow by creating value, solving their challenges, and bringing to life kick ass things to help them.
So if you or anyone you know comes to mind who has sold some stuff, while not being salesy and lame, we'd like to talk to them.
Oh, PS - in our search, we're also considering a role on the early part of the career stage that's more Business Development in nature. A "get the meeting" person who exhibits the traits and values above, but isn't solely responsible for the full cycle of bringing a new partnership to life.
Message me, Racheal Burnett, or the Guild Collective page with humans who may think this is a cool thing to explore.
✌️
We're hiring!
We're searching for a Director of Growth, someone who thrives in conversation and connecting.
This role will build new relationships, identify new areas for growth, and become a key piece in holding the integrity of the Guild Collective brand through relationships and marketing activities.
