IBM, in their haste to demonstrate their GenAI chops, launched a high-profile AI commentator for Wimbledon. This system hallucinates erroneous ‘facts’ about players. Something of an own goal … If you’ll forgive my mixed sporting metaphors. Sadly this doesn’t even look like a terribly appropriate use of AI. I’m sure Wimbledon has the funds to generate these brief player summaries.

This is mind-blowing news, and I'll be looking for use-case experiments. In a nutshell, AUTOGEN enables multi-agent conversation, including room for a human in the loop. You can implement peer or hierarchical chat modes. This seems like a clear way to implement systems like society of minds, the Unified AI Framework, or David Shapiro's ACE Framework.
