But not everything is crystal clear, so this year's AGRICULTURE TRANSPORTATION COALITION (AgTC) Annual Meeting will be full of new thoughts, new solutions, new players, new service providers, and new questions for the industry, shipper, FMC decision-makers. www.agtrans.org/events

I think this is such a bonkers idea on so many levels 1. It shows us up as weak - we achieve something as a country and we all get on the p*ss and can't be bothered working - what happened to 'what's next' - it's not how winners behave, celebrate yes but train the next day... 2. The pubs will be full anyway, regardless of the next day 3. Not everyone likes football 4. We didn't have (and I don't remember loads of calls for) a bank holiday for the women winning the euros 5. As above for the Cricketers winning the world cup 6. What about other sports or major achievements - we very often punch above our weight in the Olympics - say we finish 3rd in the medals table (which would be a far bigger achievement) do we have another random day off 7. It's too hard to implement at too short notice and won't be a bank holiday for the vast majority 8. What about everyone with a hospital / doctors / dentist etc appointment on Monday - they get cancelled because those workers absolutely should be treated to the treat - retail AND hospitality won't be able to rejig rosters and will have to foot the bill for 'bank holiday' pay 9. Let's not even mention the direct correlation to 'on the p*ss' and the rise in domestic violence Bonkers!

The output is only as good as how you prepare, set up, practice, collaborate and consider all the details. Performance, in anything, largely depends on creating the most optimal environment and conditions for success. In all the years of working is design and helping to build resonating, impactful brands, I have always shared with my teams the incredible importance of pre-production. Taking care of all the details, setting everything up for the most effective, beautiful and engaging output. This too applies to setting ourselves up for our best performance and, while, as it relates to apparel, this has largely been focused on performance wear for athletes and those engaging in an active lifestyle where performance of the apparel is key (gear for extreme weather, gear that allows full movement, gear that allows breathability, moisture-wicking, non-chafing etc), it has not (largely) translated into performance wear for your best, most supported and considered performance as a teacher, a lawyer, a CEO, a business leader, a TV presenter, particularly as a women. The clothes that women wear for all of these roles and so, so many more, need to be as carefully and thoughtfully designed as the performance wear for a runner, a climber, a dancer - because, setting up for success, the pre-production, of getting dressed each day, should be that thoughtful, that easy and that considered. For the best, strongest and most successful performance possible. behind the desk, at the boardroom table, in the courtroom and in the TV station. We have our home to live in, Let them also have it! I came across a beautiful video that shows a tiger and a cub playing and enjoying their natural habitat in the forest. But how long will it go? We humans are cutting lots of trees for our self-motto. Deforestation has 3 major deep impacts: 1. Humanity: · Loss of livelihoods for indigenous communities. · Reduced access to forest resources like timber and medicine. · Increased vulnerability to natural disasters due to disrupted ecosystems. 2. Climate: · Release of stored carbon into the atmosphere, exacerbating global warming. · Contributing to extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and disrupted weather patterns. 3. Wildlife: · Habitat destruction and loss of biodiversity. · Threatening the survival of numerous species. · Disrupting food chains and ecological balance. In sum, deforestation jeopardizes biodiversity, exacerbates climate change, and threatens vital resources, posing a significant threat to both the environment and humanity. Addressing deforestation is crucial for the well-being of our planet and future generations. Many large organizations, including #iitbombay and #synopsys with which I am associated, are putting in significant efforts to contribute to a greener environment and greener technology. Let’s come together and embrace the Nature. Save the Forest Save Humanity! #wildlife #climatechange #deforestation #globalwarming
