Sardinia, Italy Nicoya, Costa Rica, Ikaria, Greece Okinawa, Japan, Loma Linda m, California. These places are great distances from each other; their diets are different. What is the common denominator? I find Loma Linda, California interesting (not because it’s in the United States) because it’s 60 miles east of Los Angeles, California; which the American Lung Association named the location with the poorest air quality in the Nation.
