What an incredible week it’s been celebrating Juneteenth with our Karmanauts! Our week kicked off with a rejuvenating Wellness & Meditation session, focusing on mindfulness and reflecting on the significance of the holiday. We wrapped up the week with our Homecoming celebration! Complete with music, engaging activities, and delicious fare from local Black-owned food trucks, we embraced the spirit of community and camaraderie. A special thanks to everyone who participated and to our Bla-CK ERG for helping us put together such a memorable event!

I’m going to be completely honest about something I’ve realized lately: if people don’t have a class or event to attend, they often don’t carve out time for themselves. We frequently hear people say they don’t have enough time to give themselves, what they need or support themselves in a way that allows them to check in with their bodies, minds, and emotions. However, when we pay to attend an event, class, or retreat, we commit ourselves. As long as we can make the date and time, it becomes a genuine way to carve out time for ourselves. **** I believe this is a beautiful thing, and there’s nothing wrong with using community spaces as support to actually do our practices !!!!! **** Many times, when I’ve discussed this in the community, people say, “I don’t want any crutches; I want to do it all on my own.” While I understand the desire to be self-sufficient, we are social beings. It’s wonderful that we have the opportunity to check in with ourselves while being with others who are doing the same. I understand not everyone can afford one-on-one sessions with me or retreats with us. However, Dylan hosts a very low-cost community gathering on Zoom every month, which has no prerequisites. If you have done psychedelics and need a place to discuss those experiences, you’re welcome. Additionally, this month and next month, I am offering one-off classes. In the past, I used to teach multiple classes a month, sometimes even multiple classes a week. Although I wish I had the time and space for that, my current life doesn’t allow it. Instead, I am focusing on being intentional with upcoming events, such as the inner child breathwork class for the summer solstice and a Cacao ceremony in July to celebrate the feast of Mary Magdalene for all womb keepers. I invite you to join our community if you need to carve out more time for yourself. All three gatherings I mentioned are on Zoom, so no matter where you are in the world, you can join us without needing to leave your cozy little home. Comment below, what’re your thoughts on accountability partners & using community as support to get shit done? #plantmedicineretreat #peruretreat #psychedelicintegration #ayahuascaretreat #italyretreat

From a recruitment perspective, far too many are feeling the tight grip of being unemployed for a little while now along with the tight grips and burdens of the cost of living crisis. 💛 Let's all be kind to one another and make sure you check in. You may not see it, but it makes a difference... #ruok #ruokday2023 #employment #jobs #work #costoflivingcrisis
RUOK Day is a reminder to check in on our colleagues, friends, and loved ones, and to ask a simple but meaningful question: "Are you okay?" Especially in these challenging times, a few words of support can make a world of difference. So, take a moment today to reach out, listen, and show that you care. It's a small act that can have a big impact on someone's life. To celebrate this meaningful day we went for a team walk in the beautiful sunshine and handed some chocolates to the friendly locals. It felt great getting some exercise and having a nice chat together. #RUOKDay #WellnessMatters #CaringAtWork #WeAreInThisTogether Danijela Negro, Daniel Negro, Dearne Bovingdon, Jodie Strong, Eleanor Grant, Rochelle Alston, Billy Harvey-Anderson, Selda Cemali, Renée Carberry, Ronita Fourie, Ella Peters

Today is a very important day, it's R U OK? day! 💛💛💛 This is a day where we take the time to check in on our friends, family and loved ones to make sure they are doing okay. It's easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget to ask those around us how they are feeling. But taking just a few minutes out of our day to ask someone if they are okay can make all the difference. It can show them that they are not alone and that someone cares. 🫂 Mental health is just as important as physical health, and R U OK? day reminds us of that. It's a day to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and to start important conversations. It's a day where we can encourage others to seek help if they need it, and to let them know that it's okay to not be okay. 🧠 So, take the time to reach out to someone today. Ask them how they are doing, and really listen to their response. It's important to remember that sometimes people won't be okay, and that's okay. But we can support them and help them through the tough times. Let's make R U OK? day a day where we come together to support each other, show kindness and spread love. 🫰🏽💞 #mentalhealthmatters #ruokday2023 #love #everybodysaylove #help #speakupspeakout R U OK?

National Spread Joy Day is a day to celebrate positivity and spread happiness to those around you, whether at home or at work.💙 Spreading joy is important for creating a positive and happy environment. Here are five simple ways to spread joy at home and in your work environment: •Show gratitude - Express appreciation for the people around you and the things they do. A simple "thank you" can go a long way in making someone feel valued. •Spread positivity - Share positive news, stories, and messages with those around you. This can help create a more optimistic and uplifting environment. •Practice kindness - small acts of kindness, like holding the door or offering to help a coworker, can make a big difference in someone's day. •Celebrate successes - Celebrate the achievements and successes of those around you. This can help boost morale and create a sense of community. •Encourage laughter - Laughter is contagious and can help reduce stress and tension. Encourage humour and laughter in your interactions with others.

NHS Doctor & Coach Supporting Sensitive People to Change the World Without Changing Who They Are 🌱 Passionate About Climate Change & Health.
What’s the point in celebrating if it could all go wrong anyway? We had a little celebration on the weekend. After a few months on the market we finally got an offer on our house! It’s been quite stressful accommodating viewings and keeping the house tidy whilst working and running a business. We’ve grieved the loss of lives imagined in houses that sold before we could offer. But now we celebrate. Yes, it could all fall though. No, we don’t know where we’re going next. Anything could happen. But not celebrating today doesn’t rob tomorrow of its sorrow, it only robs today of its joy. Celebrating is so important for our wellbeing. It’s so important to recognise how far you’ve come and take a moment to enjoy the view and gather your energy for the next phase. It’s so common for us to say - I’ll celebrate when x or y happens but why put joy off for another day? It's key to replenishing your energy and enjoying life now. Where are you not celebrating for fear that there’s no point? What’s your favourite way to celebrate? #celebrate #joy #replenishyourenergy
