Green Flags In People❤ (1) They have your back. (2) They accept you for you. (3) They stand by your side. (4) They bring out your best👍💯 (5) They support 💪your goals. (6) They make you feel safe. (7) They celebrate your wins🎉🎊 (8) They encourage your dreams😴💭 (9) They respect your boundaries. (10) They give you honest feedback. (11) They listen without being defensive. (12) They show up for you during hard times. We're so focused on looking out for the red flags in those within our inner circle which isn't bad because you want to protect🛡️your heart but there should be a balance⚖️. There are also green flags, positive ➕traits, you should look out for in those who make up your circle, that's family, friends, your partner, loved ones ❤ This will really help us a lot in our relationships with people that matter because we'll learn to appreciate those who possess these qualities more and there's this saying that goes, "A person who feels appreciated would do more than is expected. " Remember to be kind and gentle with yourself today ✨✨✨ Have a lovely day, fam❤ #senathebossladyspeaks👑❤ #mentalhealthadvocate #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthawareness

Nothing worse than boomer advice on how to buy real estate! Good mental health and wellbeing is what we rely on when everything else falls apart. Without it, even the good things in life are tainted. Consider the things which keep you sane a priority, not a splurge. #mentalhealthmatters #caffeinefix #boomers #realestateadvice

Good stuff here from Ryan Leak!
One of the first messages I heard as a kid that marked me was when I heard a very successful person say, “If you want to win in life, Ask every single person you meet: Is there anything I can do for you?” It’s amazing the places you can end up just by serving well the person in front of you.

It’s okay to be proud of our achievements. It’s so damn hard to celebrate personal achievements without finding some fault in it. For others, we give compliments without even weathering a critique on how they did it. I am guilty of this and I am being particularly careful about the criticism I give myself or how I talk about my accomplishments, especially in front of my daughter. What have I achieved and not given myself the least bit the credit for until much later in life? I’ll name three: 1. I speak, read, and write 6 language, all before the age of 20. 2. I wrote my master’s thesis over a period of 4 years with a demanding full-time job, family obligations, and way too little sleep, and not once did I think it was time to give it up. 3. I solo-traveled and lived in various places around the world without hesitation and fear. Share your 3 achievements in the comments and let go of that obnoxious critic within too. Own your achievements 💪 #ownit #myachievements

Love every bit of this!!! <3 It's okay to accept praise for the ways we've helped others. All too often we (women in particular) dismiss any recognition by saying, "Thank you, but ____," or "It was nothing," or "That's just my job." Embrace ALL your talents! YOU made that happen. YOU listened to someone else's ideas. YOU supported a friend during a hard time. YOU made that goal into a reality. YOU brighten someone's day simply by smiling and saying hello. When you accept praise from others, you are also accepting yourself. God gave you the amazing talent to love and support those around you. Acts of service, gift-giving, etc. are all different outlets for HIS glory to be seen through you. Don't dim your light! You never know who needs to see it. Light begets more light. Let's light up the world together!

This morning, I had two conversations with two INCREDIBLE teachers and this is what I learned… 1️⃣ We have an unparalleled drive to progress in our careers; not for financial gain but to have a greater impact on the children we teach. 2️⃣ It can be a lonely profession as we are often too busy prioritising the children rather than fulfilling our own need for social interaction. 3️⃣ We need to start using LinkedIn to connect with other teachers for collaboration and new opportunities. Do you think I should launch a webinar on how to leverage LinkedIn specifically for teachers? 🤔💭

You'd want someone to tell you... I'd want someone to tell me... I don't think I've ever met anyone who wouldn't want someone to tell them... And yet, we hesitate to say it. "Hey, you've got spinach in your teeth." Somehow, sometimes, telling someone something they need to hear just doesn't feel... Nice. And we want to be nice. Maybe you've heard of "Northwest nice." It's that tendency to prevaricate, tell white lies, simply disappear from relationships instead of having that difficult conversations. It's one of the complaints we hear often from clients -- people aren't having the challenging conversations in our company that we need to be having. My favorite teachers were the ones who were tough but fair. Direct, but KIND. This need for kindness... Frankly, a substitution of caretaking, disingenuous "niceness" is NOT kind. That's why one of our Core Values at The Yes Works is: Be kind! (Not nice...) We put WELL BEING ahead of comfort. What are your stories of KIND trumps NICE? ♻️ Repost if this helped or inspired. 🔔 Follow me, Aaron Schmookler, for more. 👇 Learn to build legendary teams with legendary trust.

Reflecting on Matthew Perry, Chandler's character, two important lessons stand out: laughing at oneself and understanding that not everyone will fully comprehend what you do. These lessons are valuable reminders for navigating our own lives. In our journey, it's crucial to find humor in our quirks and imperfections. Laughing at ourselves helps us embrace our uniqueness, bringing joy to our everyday experiences. Additionally, it's important to remember that not everyone will understand or appreciate our choices, passions, or professions. That's alright. Stay true to your authentic self and surround yourself with a supportive tribe that values and understands your journey. Matthew Perry's legacy extends beyond his on-screen performances. By sharing his journey in his biography and discussing his struggles, he inspired countless people to know that they are not alone in facing their challenges. Through his bravery and vulnerability, he left behind a lasting impact that continues to touch lives. Let's remember the importance of sharing our own stories and experiences, just as Matthew Perry did. By opening up about our journeys, we have the power to inspire and uplift others, reminding them that they are not alone. As we honor Matthew Perry's legacy, let's continue the conversation and share a personal story or experience that has inspired you or taught you something valuable. ✨ #MatthewPerry #ChandlerBing #FavoriteCharacterLessons #ShareYourStory #InspireOneAnother #MatthewPerryLegacy

THRIVING THURSDAY Words and actions are powerful catalysts in shaping our professional and personal lives. As Gary Zukav wisely stated, 'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. You receive from the world what you give to the world.' This principle isn’t just a law of physics; it's a cornerstone of human interaction. However, while the law of physics applies it also means that YOU don’t have to always react. Like I tell the people who attend my office hours l - “just because they throw you the ball it doesn’t mean you have to catch it.” When we choose words of encouragement and actions of integrity, the world reflects this positivity back to us. In a professional setting, this means fostering a culture of respect and collaboration, where every positive gesture has the potential to spark a ripple effect of goodwill and productivity. So, let's be mindful of the energy we project. Whether we’re leading a team or simply engaging with colleagues, our intentional, positive contributions can create an environment where not only success and kindness flourish but people feel seen, valued, and heard.
