SDE @ Amazon | Full-Stack Engineer | Machine Learning Engineer | Generative AI | RAG | Crafting Real-World Solutions Using LLMs
Glad to share that I am one of the recipients of Bonus Blog Post Prize at the PartyRock Generative AI Hackathon. Though ineligible for the main prizes as a sponsor company employee, it feels great when your efforts get recognized! Needless to say, participating in this hackathon was a great experience. Learnt a lot about Prompt Engineering, such as how some simple tweaks in the prompt can improve the results dramatically and also learnt how to write an informative Blog Post 😉. 48H Update* - six teams are still on track! 🤘 🤘 🤘 All teams now have a clear vision of the scope they want to cover and are pushing forward. 👏 The challenges they face range from cloud architecture and LLM choice to understanding the specifics of the OSS solutions they use. Production readiness (having a fully functional MVP) is one of the key criteria. Why is production readiness important? This isn't just another conceptual hackathon where teams try random ideas; this is a building hackathon. After a typical hackathon, few products are market-ready. Most are just proof-of-concepts, even if they win. Here, our goal is to leverage AI and deliver a fully functional Geekle.AI platform directly to customers. This is your chance to create something real and impactful! I'm proud of all the brave geeks who are fighting right this moment at Geekle AI Hackathon for something unseen in the dev world. ❤️ Don't give up, keep pushing! 💪💪💪 I believe in you! https://lnkd.in/e6kHrUw3 #GeekleHackathon #AIHackathon #geekle #geekleai #hackathon #OnlineHackathon

🚀 Experiential Learning with Intel: A Journey to Inclusivity "It's been an incredible journey working on BlindMate, our smart accessibility assistant for the visually impaired. Experiential learning, powered by Intel, has shown us that we often work better under pressure—in the beginning. Our team's commitment to inclusion and innovation has led to a remarkable project that empowers visually impaired individuals to navigate the world with independence. From object detection to currency recognition, we've harnessed technology to make a difference. Our project aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goal #10, "Reduced Inequalities." We believe technology should break down barriers, not create them. Let's continue working together to make a more inclusive world. Thanks to Intel for this opportunity! Hello Everyone! I'm thrilled to share the incredible journey I embarked on during the oneAPI hackathon organized by Christ (Deemed to be University), Central Campus, Bangalore. Over the span of 7 days, my teammates Tirthajoti Sinha, Jasleen Kaur, Awantika Saha and I experienced a whirlwind of innovation, collaboration, and determination. First and foremost, I'm deeply grateful to Shriram Vasudevan (FIE, FIETE) whose expertise, unwavering support and guidance have been instrumental in shaping this event. Next, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Dr.Chandra J and Dr. Rajeshkanna Rajendran . Your dedication to education and willingness to guide and inspire our participants have made a significant impact. Last but not least I would like to thank the oneAPI student ambassadors, Joel John Joseph, MELBIN MARTIN, Raison Sabu and Arun GK . Our project, BlindMate, was a testament to our collective effort. It aimed to empower visually impaired individuals with a tool that not only assists them in their daily activities but also enhances their confidence and autonomy. Through cutting-edge technologies like image recognition, voice commands, and AI-driven text-to-speech conversion, we aim to create an inclusive environment where the visually impaired can navigate, explore, and engage with the world around them. The journey taught us not only technical prowess, but also the art of effective time management, creative problem-solving, and adapting under pressure. The memories and skills gained are treasures that will undoubtedly shape my future endeavors. As I look ahead to more challenges and growth, I'm grateful for the lessons learned and the unwavering belief in our vision. Here's to embracing more innovative adventures with the same passion and determination! 🚀🌍 The project was also recognised as one of the #Top10 Projects in the Hackathon #oneapi #python #devmesh #DataScience #Analytics #MachineLearning #ai #bigdata #devcloud #futureofdataandai #top10

First time at QCon this year! I gotta say.. there was a lot of food but also an enriching experience diving deep into new topics, gaining valuable knowledge and generally having a good time with my colleagues. There are a few noteworthy trends: - Artificial intelligence with a brilliant Keynote session by Tracy Bannon - Platform engineering, the next step after devops? And although it’s small I am happy to see that some attention actually went to the environmental impact of all this tech. Anyway here are some of my favourite talks: - Mastering Long-Running Processes in Modern Architectures Presented by Bernd Ruecker Co-founder of camunda. An interesting approach on decoupling processes to optimise the customer experience. - 0 → 1, shipping Threads in 5 months, by Zahan Malkani SE at Meta. Demonstrating that shipping a product fast in an organisation like Meta means taking on some painful technical debt as well as taking (huge) risks on the release. - Evolving Trainline Architecture for Scale, Reliability and Productivite Presented by Milena Nikolic CTO of Trainline and ex-engineering director at google. During her talk Milena showcases the importance of shaping your enterprise structure to the business needs going from a cluster model to a “diagonal platform model”. - Architecturing for data products, presented by Danilo Sato global head of technology at Thoughtworks. Gives an view on the importance of data products, as well as how the way we managed our data evolved over time. The talks will be hidden behind a paywall on QCon, but if your company can afford it I’d definitely recommend getting a pass. In the meantime, feel free to hit me up in the PMs if you’re interested in chatting about one of these topics or want more details on what was said! #QCon #SoftwareArchitecture #London #EA
