We're thrilled to introduce 3️⃣ new features that will provide you with the tools to amplify your message, forge deeper connections with your audience, and inspire others to support your Daffy Campaign: 📹 Add a video to your campaign We’ve added the ability for campaign organizers to add a video to their campaign page. These videos can be used to share more about your chosen charity(s), impact reports, donor or volunteer stories, or even your personal connection to the cause. 🖥️ Add a widget to your or a nonprofit’s website Inspired by the actions of San Leandro Community Food Pantry and Berkeley Food Network, who during our #FeedBayArea initiative added their campaign to their website by way of taking screenshots, we've made this process much easier and introduced the ability to embed your Daffy Campaign directly on your website. 📲 Share your campaign via Instagram or Facebook Stories Similar to how you’d share a song to your Story from Spotify, we've introduced a feature that allows you to easily share your Daffy Campaign on your Story. Plus, we’ve already created graphics for you! #Fundraiser #Startup

How do you engage the traffic on your website that’s simply there to read an article, post, or blog? Sometimes it can be tricky to find ways to engage these visitors in a way that motivates them to take a specific action—like signing up for emails, donating, etc. But one organization with a high volume of this kind of traffic was able to get more people to take a very meaningful call-to-action with just a simple and intentional pop-up. Here’s how 👇 Hypothesis: Showing a popup with value copy on a journal page to users who do not yet follow the author will increase followers. Why might this work? First, some quick context on this experiment: 1️⃣ It’s with our friends at CaringBridge whose primary service is providing free journal sites to keep family, friends, and loved ones connected during a health journey. 2️⃣ They’re a nonprofit, so they need to figure out how to convert journal readers into donors in order to reach more people with their service. 3️⃣ Increasing the number of journal followers impacts revenue downstream: more followers means more opportunities to send update emails—which means more opportunities to place a donation ask. Results: Adding the pop-up increased journal page followers by 138.8%. If you understand the meaning of marketing strategy, you won't be surprised with donations coming from left and right for #MumZee #Debbie on the street of 'X' (Twitter) 😀. Everyone you see donating one thing or another to her likely has a brand or business, and they are only using the most trending matter, which is Debbie, to promote their brand as a marketing strategy. How does it work? Once they show interest in donating, thousands of people will likely click on their profile information to learn about them and potentially patronize them. In the end, what they gain will likely be 10x what they donated... Marketing Strategy + Social Media Exposure + Trending Issues = Savvy business promoters . . . I am, Sam O. 👨💻

Powering nonprofits with cutting edge and flexible fundraising technology to help drive their mission
I had a great chat with a #nonprofit about why it's crucial to connect with Generation Y (Millennials) and Generation Alpha (the kiddos born after 2010) in #fundraising efforts and some cool ways we can do it: 1. Why It's Important: Gen Y and Alpha are the future of #philanthropy. They care deeply about causes and want hands-on involvement with organizations they support. So, to keep the nonprofit momentum strong, we've got to engage them. 2. Tech Savvy: They practically grew up with smartphones and social media. Think crowdfunding campaigns, (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) stories that tug at the heartstrings, and threads that spark conversations. The digital world is our oyster, and we've got to dive right in. 3. Authenticity is Key: These generations value authenticity. Share genuine stories, be transparent about donations, and show them the impact they're making firsthand. 4. Get Them Involved: They're not just donors; they want to get hands-on. Offer volunteer opportunities, youth-led initiatives, and peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns to get them engaged. 5. Spread the Word: Many may not know about you. Partner with schools, host workshops, and collaborate with youth organizations to spread awareness. 6. Add Some Fun: Gamify fundraising efforts with challenges, rewards, and competitions to make it exciting and engaging for them. 7. Stay Connected: Keep them in the loop with regular updates and opportunities to get involved. The more they feel part of the family, the more likely they are to stick around. Let's get creative and make some magic happen together. Together, we've got the power to change the world, one donation at a time! #NonprofitNinjas #GenY #GenAlpha #MakingADifference

I help major gift fundraisers to multiply results (and have fun doing it) with systems, psychology, sanity, and sacredness.
#FindOneAnother Post 5 of 6 (You can see previous posts on this by searching the hashtag FindOneAnother) There are people out in the world, right now, enjoying their morning cup of coffee who have no idea about your cause. But they need to hear about your vision and mission. They already share your passion and they see the problems that need to be addressed. How are you helping them to find and learn about you? Suggestion 5 of 6: 🥂Experiences🕺 Create experiences for your givers and prospects that go beyond the ordinary. From immersive events to virtual tours, invite them to see the impact of their support firsthand. Enable them to feel the change as it happens and be part of something bigger. Think creatively about the categories of blessing, playing, and feasting when crafting experiences. Vision trips have been one of the top ways I’ve inspired and invited people to join the causes I’ve worked for. What does a vision trip look like for your charity? It may be as simple as a trip across town or a flight to the part of the world where your cause is working. Bring the gift of experiences often to increase your chances of sharing that ☕ with that person who needs to know about you. Let’s find each other! 🎵“Then we’ll be together…out where dreams come true…”🎶 #majorgifts #somewhereoutthere #experiencethechange #fun #creativity #innovation #fundraising 💫 Want to learn more and increase your results in major gift fundraising? ✔️Follow me on LinkedIn and click the🔔on the top right of my profile to be notified of posts. ✔️Receive weekly pro tips and reflections to your email: https://lnkd.in/dfyNe9Xz

A fundraising funnel is a powerful marketing approach. It lays out a series of stages designed to nurture potential donors' relationships with your organization, eventually converting them into staunch supporters. 📢Awareness Stage: This is about amplifying your cause to a broader audience, stimulating their interest in your nonprofit's mission through social media, content marketing, community events, and more. 👍Interest Stage: Deepen engagement with your cause by providing informative content like blog posts, videos, and success stories and encouraging potential donors to follow your updates through email subscriptions or social media. 🤔Decision Stage: Make it easy for potential donors to decide to support your cause by effectively communicating the impact their contribution could have. Accomplish this by incorporating compelling calls to action and easy-to-use donation options. 🎯Action Stage: Ensure a seamless donation process that offers various methods such as one-time gifts, recurring donations, or gift-matching opportunities. 💚Retention Stage: Build lasting relationships by expressing gratitude for their contributions and regularly updating them on your organization's work and impact. #fundraising #donations #fundraisingfunnel

Want to stand out on social media during year-end fundraising? Here are 5 great tips from Amenable.
5 Tips for Utilizing Social Media in Fundraising from our content strategist Joe. Clarity is King: People want to know where their money is going. Being clear about finances, operations, what has been raised, and what is still needed provide clarity to people when they view your posts. 👑 Story Still Sells: At the heart of every successful campaign is a story that resonates with donors. A compelling narrative can drive empathy, motivate action, and foster a sense of urgency among potential donors. Can you capture a compelling story in 30-90 seconds? 📖 Show Progress: Whether it’s the progress of a specific fundraiser, or the strides you’ve made throughout the year, donors what to see where you started, what you’ve accomplished, and where you are trying to go. 📈 Giving Made Easy: Streamline the donation process by using platform specific options like “Swipe Up” on Instagram or “Donate” on Facebook. Having different donation avenues like online contributions, mail-in donations, or even a phone-call can help ease the giving process. 💻️ Rooted in Relationships: Fundraising is relational and built on trust. The better you know a donor the more likely they are to give to your organization because your request is made to an individual rather than a faceless mass. 👫

How to human in 2024… At #NIOSummit 2023 Carlos Whittaker spoke on how to human. And as we move into a new year with new goals and new strategies, a little reflection and intentionality around “being human” might be worth your time… So here are a few ways you can “human” in 2024 (and grow your digital fundraising too)… 1️⃣ Address your audience in a personal way — use their name, share stories of impact, ditch designed emails, and use plain text. 2️⃣ Listen to the things your audience has to say and adapt your strategy accordingly. 3️⃣ Attend NIO Summit 2024 — you’ll find the realest, most human community of fundraisers you’ve ever been a part of. So if you’d like to find yourself in a room surrounded by people who are crazy enough to do the same thing as you this year, get your ticket to NIO! And it’s not just us, here’s what one attendee has to say about the community at NIO: “There are relationships here, and I wanna come back and meet those people. And it's just this beautiful community of people who are doing good together. It's like the mecca of fundraising… We need to be shaking hands, having meals together, and building relationships.” At the time of this posting, just 75 tickets remain for $695, and that price will increase to $995 as soon as they’re gone.
